Corporate strategy has systematically stripped away their best artisan offerings, including the Asiago Roast Beef, Napa Almond Chicken Salad on Sesame Semolina, and Tuna on Whole Wheat. Their marketing claims to focus on 'clean food,' yet heavily pushes bakery treats at every order. This Grand Blanc location itself is well-run and consistently delivers a solid meal, but corporate decisions prevent Panera from being the standout bakery-cafe it used to be.“

“We had Brooklynn as our server. The food was amazing, the service was 12 out of 10. I loved my bacon cheeseburger, he loved his Twisted Bill, the Orange Cream Shake was beautifully made and I drank it all! We will definitely be back soon. My new favorite little diner.“

“For those unaware, this PitaWay is halal, which means the meat they serve was raised and slaughtered HUMANELY. So if someone says it’s a bit more expensive than other places that’s one reason. I NEVER eat chicken unless it was raised and slaughtered humanely, and it’s worth it to pay a bit more at PitaWay, but honestly, I think their prices are perfectly set. The chicken (I eat white) is always great, and the portions, although they vary a bit from visit-to-visit, are always fair. Atmosphere is only a 3 in my book, but I prefer a both and a larger space. I believe PitaWay wants to discourage patrons from lollygagging, hence the small seating area and rock-hard chairs (goal achieved! lol). For a healthier alternative, I’d definitely recommend PitaWay!!“

“This restaurant never disappoints, there food is exceptional. Starting with the crispy onion pakora will have you craving for more. Try the sizzling tender chicken tikka (you can cut with a fork) with its caramelized onion and peppers to the rogan josh with it outstanding flavors. A most for any indian curry lover“

“My favorite place to eat in Ortonville! The family that owns this restaurant is just wonderful. I can't count how many times we've eaten here, and every part of our experience has been fantastic every time. I try something new each time I order, however, I've never ordered anything but the Mexican cuisine (the cheese chili rillenos are my favorite) . Recently I saw a comment on a local FB page bragging about their Greek Salad, so I ordered one. The salad was put together beautifully, but the dressing!!!!.....omg the dressing was IT! “Fenton's Chef is excellent along with their attentive table service. Their Lamb Kabobs were grilled to absolute perfection (medium) as always! My sister ordered the Tawook Lemon Oregano entre and it was so delicious and tender!!!! ..entree and side dish portions are generous and memorable!....You just can't go wrong no matter what you order....it was so outstanding that we both ended up ordering a SECOND entree and sides to take home with us.!!! They also have a nice semi-private dinning area to one side for larger family or event groups! Thank you La Marsa for another great dinning experience.“

“My daughter and I go here often. I’ve never had an issue til today. They have new gluten free flat bread. It was a little under done so I told the waitress and apologized profusely because I never send food back . The cook can out and told me they had new gluten free bread and offered to remake it . It was PERFECT . Big props to the staff and to the cook that came out to talk to me , thank you , you are greatly appreciated. Enjoy your drinks!! 😊😊“

“a coworker told me to go there for lunch and I've been going at least twice per month maybe 3 times per month, but I think they have great food. I'm not going to lie I was disappointed once. “We were told that this place makes Chinese food that is close to Empress of China, which is now closed. I ordered the princess chicken (spicy) and my wife got cashew chicken. Both were excellent. We also got the crab cheese rangoons. I wished they put more filling in them but they were tasty. The one drawback was no service for inside dining (seating only) since this place is takeout only. We would definitely be regular customers should they ever decide to open a full service restaurant.“

“We were in on Friday night with a group of 12. Nolan was our server and did an outstanding job. We was friendly, quick to take our order, made sure we had everything we needed, and made sure we were happy. We live closer to the Lake Orion location but would make the drive back to Fenton because the service was great.“

“The service was very quick. My waitress was very friendly and answered my questions. She made good recommendations to me because it was my first time there. The food was good but a little too salty for my taste. It's expensive for what you get. I was surprised that the inside of the building was so plain, when the outside is so beautiful. Its not as clean as I expect when they are charging so much. Menu was worn and looked like someone had barbecue on their hands while looking at it. There were crumbs on the table and on the cloth napkin. The seat dividers had fingerprints on them. Nothing major but not acceptable if they are going to charge so much. Everyone there was very friendly though.“

“Liked this place and want to go back! Our waitress was nice and there are quite a few other things I would like to try on the menu. The service was a little slow for only having about 3 tables in the entire place but the food was worth the wait.

The only things I didn't like was:

1. They gave us the super long handled spoons that are usually used for bibimbap for the tiny miso soup bowls. It was not very easy to eat soup with those as I am pretty sure they are not meant for soup at all. 😅 It was really bizarre that they didn't give us the proper utensils to eat our food. We only got the long forks and spoons so we ended up asking for spoons for the soup (they gave us more of the long spoons not the typical miso spoons) and we ended up getting up and grabbing chopsticks from the takeout counter because they didn't offer or bring them despite us ordering sushi and other things that typically require chopsticks.

2. I read the menu online ahead of time and was SUPER excited that the mixed veggie tempura roll DIDN'T have avocado or anything else I couldn't eat. It came out with avocado and red peppers even though only zucchini, potatoes, and squash were listed. 😭 The first version sounded delicious and this was inedible for me because of food allergies. I ended up giving that roll to a friend who didn't even want it but also didn't want to waste the food. 😅

3. My friend wanted to order mochi which was on the menu but they do not carry mochi anymore apparently. I honestly thought the restaurant was freshly opened since there weren't very many people there, they didn't have all utensils, and the front part of the restaurant looked unfinished.

4. The paper menu was difficult to read in parts (due to the text fading off) and not many of the foods or rolls had descriptions. On top of that, the chefs either didn't know the menu or there are inconsistencies in what is listed on the online menu vs what they think the menu is (at least for sushi rolls).

Overall it feels like the restaurant has great potential but is still working out a few details. Despite a few mishaps during our visit, my friends and I found the food delicious and the atmosphere was really cool thanks to the fantastic interior.“
