“whenever I have doctor's appointments in downtown Grand Rapids, my hubby always asks me to get food from here. he used to live close to it and misses it SOOOOO much. So, we had some money today and I headed straight there to get me some GOOD fried chicken and perch. parking can be a pain, but it's definitely worth the wait and hassle. I also think it's soooo cool that they remember my boyfriend, by name, when I showed him a picture of us, and it's been a good 3 years since he has been there physically.“

“We did 13.95 for so called homemade "hash" it was a joke. it was the size of a drinking cup around and flat in size. That and toast. drinks were 3.99 no refill. Plus they were serving coke out of 2 L. warm. When served warm and adding ice, it diluted it. We get better food for same price at Mr. Burger with refills on drinks. Glad their closing. Not even acceptional food. I fell bad for the waitress. She was awsome.“

Our son has Autism and Chris was patient and respectful- our son likes to order for himself and Chris not only listened carefully but engaged with him. “One of the best places to get gizzards at! Wish they had a location closer to me, but I still go there when I'm in town. Chicken is always well portioned and so juicy & flavorful. I definitely recommend them to any and everyone! Must try! The livers were okay, didn't have the flavor I wanted, not sure why, but I still ate most of them for the iron. Fries always crispy & delicious! (Not pictured: chicken fingers & fries, onion rings & hush puppies) Didn't try the chicken fingers but my kids said they were delicious and juicy, didn't try onion rings but they were large and crunchy, said to be very good! The hush puppies were crispy on the outside, hot, flavorful and soft on the inside, not too dry either, very tasty!“

“The first few times we ordered from here was a bit rough with incorrect, overly greasy pizza, but something changed around 2020. Since then, the pizza has been great, and the team working the counter is always friendly. We appreciate the improvements.“
