“Oaky’s is out of the way near Grawn, but it’s worth the drive. Old timers knew the place as Giovanni’s Roadhouse, then Maddy’s Tavern. Both had ok food in a rustic building. Oaky’s owners have greatly improved the place. It’s large and airy inside, with a long wraparound deck outside. The food is mighty fine: the kitchen did a first-class job with our Smoked Turkey Club and Steak ’n Mushroom soup. The servers know their stuff and are a pleasure to deal with. The prices are a reasonable - indeed, they’re a buck or two lower per item than what you’ll find at competitors. And the parking lot isn’t the potholed monster like it was back in the old days.“

“OMG… SOOOOO GOOD! We called ahead to see how busy it was and Stephanie was delightful on the phone. When we came in Stephanie’s warmth, charm and friendliness met us at the door! She chatted with us about the restaurant and how it’s a product of her and her husband’s love for food. Everything is sourced from specific farmers so they know where all their ingredients are coming from! 💗 Our sever Vynessa 😊 was AMAZING, took great care of us, gave recommendations, chatted with us and poured love into her service! The food…. Holy smokes, it was so effing good! We had risotto, the flavors and textures just complemented each other perfectly, the best risotto I’ve ever had. The quiche was just as good and had great ingredients of rapini, sweet potato, broccoli, carmalized onions and more! We also had roasted potatoes and bacon sausage. We grabbed a scone and cinnamon roll to go, haven’t tried them at the time of posting this review. Please go here, support small, support local and have some of the best food of your life! Honestly the best food I’ve had locally in a while. 1,000% recommend trying at least once but I’ll be back since the menu is HUGE.“

“#1 The chai latte is to die for here. 2. My only disappointment was I did not have more fingers to lick after worshipping every bite of my Monte Cristo sandwich. Heavenly . 3. The Valentines cannoli was as delightful as those from North End in Boston. We will be back, in the meantime will send all our friends and family to hold our barstools down. “Earthen Ales is a pleasant place to enjoy a beer. I stopped by to try a flight of beers and really enjoyed their darker ales. It feels pretty casual and welcoming, and I like how it’s kind of hidden away back there. I’ll have to look out for their beers in my neck of the woods.“

“My husband and I both enjoy Indian food. This is hands down the BEST Indian food we’ve ever had! I had Daal Tadka and my husband had Daal Madkani. We also shared garlic naan. The ambience is modern with of course an Indian vibe. The aromas walking in were very enticing yet not over powering. They have a large variety of food. Plenty of vegetarian options which I was pleased with. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was timely yet not constantly interrupting. The chef brings the food to your table which was a lovely touch. I’m addition to the food being delicious, it’s very generous portions. We both had plenty left over to take home. Highly recommend this gem when you’re in Traverse City. We will likely visit it again before we head home next week!“

“I happen to live in interlachen and I absolutely love their barbecue chicken pizza I never have to worry about it not having sauces I don't have to worry about only liking onion on half I have never had a bad experience and all of the employees are so pleasant“

“This was one of our favorite sushi places we've ever been to. The sushi was really good! The staff was helpful when we had questions and we needed help identifying pictures with the menu. We had the spicy edamame and seaweed salad for an appetizer, and they were both delicious! The drinks were flavorful and we were satisfied with our whole experience! Everyone was nice and kind!“

“They have great beer there and a number of pinball machines. The owners are good people who have been in the brewery business for close to 30 years. My favorite 3 beers there are Gin Joy, CEO stout and cake walk. They have some good IPAs which I have been known to drink occasionally“

We were able to do a few kegs of different kinds & it was an absolute hit! Super easy because of self pouring option with the jockey box and delicious! It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for and it was well worth it for such great service and wonderful food. It was my husband and girlfriends birthday and you really made the night.
