“The food was amazing! So fresh & tasty! And, in the beautiful little town of Amherstburg across from the park. The owner is so sweet. She's known my husband since he used to work at a bank in town, and remembered him years later, and was so happy to see him. I want to go back asap! We had a Korean bbq bento box, spider roll, California rolls, and soft shell crab appetizer. Also my husband got to try a complimentary seaweed salad. Did I say the food was amazing? I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Definitely a gem of a restaurant!“

“We just came from Kona Sushi in Tecumseh. Our server was excellent. Dominica helped us navigate the menu and we chose the Golden Dragon and the Red Dragon roll. They were both excellent. Lovely decor. Our meal was promptly served. Dominica also made us a pitcher of Mojitos that were also excellent. I highly recommend Kona in Tecumseh.“

“We went for a late lunch. When we were there we were told we couldn’t order fresh sushi and had to get it from the conveyor belt, though this wasn’t a problem, the sushi on the belt was plentiful and of a decent variety. You could get hot food to order still however. Sushi was tasty and reasonably priced compared to most Jersey prices, in line with what you’d expect on mainland UK. However hot food was a bit on the pricy side and not amazing. Staff were helpful and attentive.“

“Was not expecting this place to be a part of the Hook and Reel restaurant. The Ramen was fair, I would rate it 5 of 10, 10 being the Best ever. The portions are Big, we couldn't finish our Bowl.
We Both chose Chicken for our ramen, but it was very dry and tough. Maybe precooked then added to the broth? Plus the boiled egg in the Ramen was ice cold in the middle?
It is a little strange sitting in a Seafood place having Ramen, but the restaurant overall was nice, clean, with 2 sections, 1 for Hook & Reel the other for Kinya. They just sat us on the H&R side. They are Both the Same room. Different Menus. Our service was good as well. Friendly Staff.
We prefer this location over the Taylor store. Always looking for a good Ramen.“
