“Attended and helped plan my good friends wedding and I have to say the team at Charlevoix did such an amazing job! They executed 120 person event flawless with offerings of signature cocktails, delicious and unique food a cool environment but most of all attentive 5* service from all the staff and kitchen team that made a wonderful and memorable event. I highly recommend this as your next go to destination for a dining out experience. Cheers !!!“

“Incredible place to have some beers and good food. Parking on Kercheval is paid, but don’t put coins in the meter, you have to use a website/app to pay for parking. If you park on a side street it’s free. The building is large and tons of space for big groups either outdoor or indoor. TV’s to watch sports. Haven’t had a bad beer here yet. One of the best parts we stumbled on was the Happy Hour from 3:13-6:16 M-F which gets you $3.13 beer and $6.16 food. You would think it is a small portion since it’s on happy hour but you would be wrong. This will be a place we return to often.“

The owners of The Whitney have done so much to preserve this amazing estate in Detroit without any funding assistance from the government or grants. The small came with 3 big meatballs & loaded with grated cheese. It really was ahige portion for a small. The sandwich was also soooooo good even as leftovers!!!! The bad.... I waited like 15+ mins in the rain to order. I walked inside half way through the wait to look for someone, never found anyone. Went back outside & waited with 4 more people & no one ever came so after 15+ mins, I went upstairs to the store & asked for help. The girl working found the cook (who also takes the orders) & just happened to be on lunch. I wouldn't have minded waiting if there would've been a little 30 min break sign up or something. Honestly it seemed like he either hated his job or he's definitely overworked & maybe the only employee besides the girl upstairs Even though customer service was not good, the food was amazing & I'll definitely eat there again next time I'm in town.“

“This was my first time at Zeffs.i was headed downtown to Jury duty and needed breakfast. It was 6:30 am. The employees were so pleasant early in the morning which was a plus. The other patrons were a morning delight. The food was delicious and tasty. The wait wasn't long at all 😁. The outside of the restaurant was clean. The inside was clean and inviting. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to eat... especially early in the morning.“

“My wife and I dropped in for lunch on a quiet afternoon to try the restaurant out; it had been quite a while since we had been here. My wife had a great fish sandwich. She reported that it was light, flaky, and crispy - and not at all greasy. I tried the Buffalo chicken burger. Excellent - it was tender and not overcooked, and with just the right amount of Buffalo sauce, not overwhelmingly spicy but flavorful. And our server was friendly and there when we needed her for service.“
