“I've ordered carry-out from May Hong before and it's always been amazing. It's ready when I've walked through the door and piping hot, plus tasty. A personal favorite is the Sesame Chicken. Egg rolls are also delicious!

However, a friend and I decided to dine in two weekends ago. There may have been a rush before us that had just left, but there was only a single clean table available, and one staff person handling all the orders and cleaning.

We ordered, and I waited half an hour--no exaggeration--for a bubble tea. I decided to try something new that night, the honey chicken. No real taste of honey to be found. Stick with the Sesame or Sweet & Sour Chicken since you can't go wrong with those.

Also, the booths? A group of people left behind me and new people came in. Every time someone moves behind you, you can feel it and it's quite jarring when you're trying to eat.

The staff person we dealt with tried her hardest, and she was very, very nice, just severely overworked.

May Hong is still worth ordering from for the food, but keep it to carry-out. Dining in isn't the best experience.“

“I have been a customer and have enjoyed delicious meals since it opened in 1985. We had moved away 20 years ago and whenever we came back to visit we would try to go to Shin Shin whenever possible. Staff have always been very friendly and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed in a meal. Last night my husband and I had a dinner date there. We were not disappointed. “Hello Everyone I Ordered the S&S Chicken,Fried rice with all the meats, crab Rangoon, egg roll, fried crab claws. Food prep took 20 min longer than advised time.The rice was very flavorful lots of meat and CLEAN shrimp but just a tad bit on the dry side.The chicken was crispy hot and delicious. Crab Rangoon light and golden, eggrolls were great too! They were out of the deep fried crab claws i was kinda bummed but I'll try next time. “We recently moved down into West Village from North Macomb County. Part of our bucket list was to find a go to Chinese Restaurant as this is one of our favorite carry out options. Well this past Christmas we celebrated on the 24th. Christmas Day we didn't want to cook and decided to try and find a Chinese restaurant that was open for carry out. Well we landed on Dynasty. I can tell you with 100% honesty that this is some of the greatest Chinese carry out we've ever had. Great portions. Tastes amazing and the family is wonderful. We've been back several times and will continue to order from here. The restaurant itself isn't much to look at but please don't let that turn you off.Highly recommend!!!“

However, the food still seems to be consistently very good. My favorites are sesame chicken and spicy noodles. “Ordered China Villa on Door Dash. Was fully prepared for something in the order to go wrong because of how large it was, but everything was there, exactly as described, and very well packaged- not a single leak, hole, or spill! Portion sizes were absolutely wonderful, reminded me of old school take-out where they’d FILL it to the brim, and even after the commute to the house, the food was still fresh and hot!

As far as the food goes:

SOUP: The wonton soup was really good, but a tiny bit greasy, would definitely order again- the dumplings were actually really large. I wasn’t a fan of the hot and sour soup as it wasn’t spicy enough for my liking and wasn’t very balanced (was very much on the sour side), but hot and sour soup is usually preferential anyways.

APPETIZER: The rangoons were on the sweeter side and didn’t have much filling at all- they weren’t bad, I just probably wouldn’t order them again.

DINNERS: Almond chicken was delicious, yellow gravy was more on the watery side than it was thick but tasted okay. Upgraded the rice to pork fried rice and it was so good. Beef and broccoli was great too.

SIDES: The egg rolls were filled up! Ordered a side of green onion (which I LOVED that that was an option), and they give you a really good amount with the order.

Overall really pleased with my experience ordering with them, and will definitely be ordering from here the next time I want some nostalgic Chinese food.“

“I ordered delivery via uber eats. The food is best Asian cuisine I have eaten in a long time. The sauces taste homemade and are light . The eggrolls and wonton soup are the best I have ever eaten. I tried 2 entrees, orange chicken and almond chicken. Both were delicious. I was very happy to find the almond chicken sauce was not brown gravy like what most other restaurants provide. This sauce was light golden and a perfect complement to the dish.“
