“Had the falafel rice bowl! The overall food experience was a tasteful one! The bowl is a great taste experience, with the mild fresh falafels, rice, fattoush salad with an in-house dressing. It comes with hummus, tahini as well! The dish serving was generous in portion and pickle turnip and pickles! The server Dana was friendly, and efficient, checking with me several times. “After about six months of buying Kalindi’s cakes in Grosse Pointe and paying 30% more, I discovered the bakery itself right on the way to Michigan Cancer Center at 10 & Kelly. The carrot and casatta cakes are the BEST we’ve ever tasted, but we’ve never had a bad selection. Don’t miss the zucchini bread or the German chocolate cake either. Don (owner) runs the register and he’s just as helpful and pleasant as he can be!The only drawback - and it’s significant - is the heavy smell of cigarette smoke that inhabits the store. The last time I was there, my wife could SMELL it on my clothes when I got home! Folks with allergies - BE AWARE.“

“I used Terri's Cakes for my October wedding and cannot recommend them enough for their desserts and as vendors.First, the desserts. I'm not a huge cake person (sorry!) but Terri's Cakes know what they're doing and they do it WELL. The flavor options are all amazing, I actually can't pick a favorite of what we tried. The cakes are moist and the frosting isn't overly sugary and sweet.For our wedding, we ordered a 3-tiered cake that could feed all of our guests, as well as the cake jars for people to take home as a favor. Terri's cakes also offered to customize the jars for us with stickers of whatever we wanted - we chose our dog and it was such a cute, small detail that a lot of guests loved.Second, the customer service. This is a family owned business and they will treat you like family as well. The woman we did our consultations with was so helpful, fun and nice. She explained all of our options to us clearly and made sure we were happy with what we were getting.We had a number of guests with nut and gluten allergies, and we were assured their bakery takes these issues very seriously. We felt comfortable serving these products to our friends and family with dietary restrictions.As a bonus - we get a complementary dessert for our one year anniversary so we didn't have to worry about freezing part of our cake! “I have been to all the locations and the Tecumseh location is the best in my view. I felt I was cheated once at the South location when I ordered a Personal size pizza and got about 4 bites out of it. It didn't even taste good. You better off getting 2 slices. Other than that, all the locations are good but, Tecumseh is the best.“

“This is one of my favorite gems for tea and breakfast! They serve Harney &Sons tea, my favorite! You can stop in for a 6pack of scones or sit and enjoy the ultimate tea experience, which I feel is a must. Every tea cup/pot is unique which adds to the ambiance. I have been a fan of their scones for years but I absolutely LOVE their homemade, fluffy, buttery, yummy quiche. The garlic crab quiche is my obsession! ? “Saucy’s always has the best pizza. I ordered online and was told 30 minutes. It ended up being 45 minutes but I don’t mind waiting for excellent pizza. The additional 15 minute wait was during a peak order time and one of their ovens were down. Still, the manager apologized repeatedly and the entire staff was kind and courteous while other patrons were being very rude to them. Any day of the week, Saucy’s is the BEST pizza, hands down!!!“

They have ample options between salads, bowls, smoothies and açaí bowls. I enjoyed the spicy Buddha bowl and the yoga girl with chicken added. For some reason when I ordered on DoorDash it didn't come in a bag or with silverware which was a little strange. We had 5 kids with us today at the mall. My patience was running thin when we decided to stop back-to-school shopping for a dinner break. We ordered 5 poutines and 6 drinks. They got us served quickly without sacrificing the New York Fries quality! We were sitting down to eat within minutes of ordering. I honestly thought it would take longer.
