He was so accommodating with our sampling, shared his own flavors he likes, and made my ice cream treat absolutely perfect. I got cheesecake mixed with Oreos and cake batter mixed with gummy worms. He made a dairy free treat for my man, which was also fantastic! Thanks Montrae! We will be back.“

“I recently tried Rollzz Ice Cream in Windsor and really enjoyed it! I ordered the Neutula Crunch and Kinder Bueno rolls — both were delicious. The ice cream was creamy, full of flavor, and had a great mix of textures. The staff were friendly and made the rolls right in front of me, which was fun to watch. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something sweet!“

“I am writing this review to just address an issue we came across tonight which is the reason why I still put I recommend Cathy’s because despite this one issue out of the million times we’ve been there I still think they’re great. Tonight, I ordered my daughter vegan strawberry ice cream with a waffle cone and sprinkles. When I ordered the waffle cone the girl taking our order said “you know that won’t be vegan with the cone right?” I said that’s fine. Then I ordered a sundae for myself and a sundae for my son.. in that exact order. She asked if we wanted whipped cream and a cherry after ordering the sundaes.. not after we ordered the vegan strawberry with a cone. I said yes. I handed her my card after we finished ordering. She walked away then came back to ask if I wanted whipped cream and a cherry again… and i said yes and clarified i did not want the nuts for the 2nd time. I handed her a $3 cash tip. She said thank you.. walked away then came back and told me the total I reminded her she still had my card that was no longer in her hand at this point (not sure where she set it not that its very relevant but it points out the fact she was already flustered.) I know it can be overwhelming and it was close to 9pm so I am not holding it against her. We got our sundaes, then my card back. The kids dad waited for his shake and my daughters ice cream. A different person came to the window with the strawberry vegan in a bowl with whipped cream and a cherry. Which again, no big deal mistakes happen but she seemed clearly annoyed that it wasn’t correct. She remade the strawberry vegan in the waffle cone like originally ordered but when she handed it she made it seem like it was our fault and I’m truthfully hoping they have cameras and can see that was not the case. She mentioned how they didn’t charge us for the cone and said we ordered whipped cream and a cherry for the strawberry vegan 🤦🏻‍♀️ which again, we had 2 sundaes. The words whipped cream and cherries never came out of my mouth in my order.. ever. I was asked if I wanted them after I ordered the sundaes and I said yes just without the nuts because she also named nuts. I guess the fact they tried to place blame us and act like we were trying to get something free was the part that bothered me because I’m pretty sure my tip covered their mistake of not charging for the cone and working in customer service, I also know placing blame on the customer isn’t a good look. I would’ve gladly paid for the cone but like I said, I tipped before knowing I’d have poor service. We were never upset, annoyed or rude that the order wasn’t right. Mistakes happen, we’re all human but it did upset me that we were treated that way. The second person handing us the ice cream was visibly annoyed but it shouldn’t have been towards us. I normally have a great experience so I didn’t want to write a complete negative review. The ice cream is amazing and I’d like to give the benefit of doubt that it was just a long day/night but hope whoever the second person was will see this because like I said.. if there’s cameras this is exactly what went down with the order and that would reiterate just that. I am blessed enough to be able to afford my cone.. that was never the issue and if it was I wouldn’t of ordered almost $19 of ice cream. I guess the fact my tip went unnoticed and I was treated as if I was in the wrong was what bothered me enough to make this review.“

“I have been going here for years. My family nd I love this place so much we go almost everyday can’t get enough. Staff is awesome very nice. Owners are so sweet amazing ppl very friendly. Durning the summer u will see the owners outside walking around talking to their customers, making u feel like family. I had almost one of everything on the menu nd I haven’t found anything I haven’t liked. It’s a must go on any type of weather best ice cream in town hands down. Good job Dairy Freezzz u rock!“

“Love this place! Close to home so we stop in pretty frequently to check out the latest flavors. The new remodel looks awesome and definitely brings out a castle vibe. There is now a space for people to have game nights and host events as well. Another great feature is the amount of vegan & gluten free options available. The owner is great and really brings the whole place together!“

“This walk up window is located near Parker's Alley but the ordering side is on John R. It is clean and easy to get to. There is a limited menu basically just chocolate or vanilla soft serve. Around the corner there are tables and chairs located in Parker's Alley for relaxing with your treat.“

“I once saw a guy (teenager) on the cash register miscount a customer's change by $0.25 so the customer started yelling at him. The customer got one sentence out before a manager told the kid at the cash register to go to the back then she laid into the customer about bullying kids and his total lack of respect and humanity.

Stoped by en route back into Detroit and picked up a “small” ice cream cone, when in fact I got the largest swirl of ice cream I’d ever seen. All very creamy and sweet, perfect for a summer day. Can’t ask for anything more.“
