“I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience at Royal Chicken last night was so impressive that I had to share it. I needed a last-minute family platter for some guests, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. Not only were they understanding and helpful, but the owner personally took charge of preparing the food. He was so kind and even helped me carry everything to the car, which I truly appreciated.

The food was absolutely fantastic — some of the best I’ve had. My guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. If you’re looking for great service and amazing food, I highly recommend Royal Chicken. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Awesome customer service, and I would highly recommend this location for fast food. The chicken is my favorite with the lemon pepper that adds a little bit of a different taste 😋. Kool-aid is on point also. When I'm visiting Detroit Michigan, i always seem to want Manhattan chicken and Kool-aid. Not much of a fish person 🙄 but the chicken is the bomb and the prices are very reasonable. Keep up the good service 👍🏾 Rate a 10 if I could 👌🏾“

“Just wanted to share the experience I just had at Flings Fried Chicken For some reason I had a huge craving for their taters I haven't been there since I was in grade school. So I decided before work to go grab my mom and family some food . Of course i forgot my wallet 🥴🥴 and it's a 60+ dollar order. I panicked , asked if he accepted e-transfer .. anything I live in Tecumseh so going home and grabbing my wallet and making it back on time for work in 30 mins was just not an option .. “Best ribs that I've ever ate, and the chicken is absolutely delicious too..Most of the time I get a carryout, but once in a while we'll eat there, and that interior decor has needed a makeover for 15 years of better..With the amount of money that they bring in, Im a firm believer that they can afford a 5-10K for a new facelift on their restaurant ??

“I like red beans and rice I was disappointed that they gave me more than half a cup of rice and when I went back to voice my concerns they took their dear sweet time to rectify the situation, needless to say I probably won't be ordering that side dish again however I love the chicken.“

“David the manager is great, I made an order, but had to change it last minute, because I was having more people than I expected at my house for dinner. David changed my order with no issues and told me it would be about another 8 minute wait. I said "No problem" because I understand I made the change of order. While waiting I sat and listened to the crew talking and communicating orders and a little personal talk, the communication between employees was nice and not offensive, which I find rare waiting for orders at food places these days. My food was piping hot when I got it and I had a really good experience at this location. The workers are great and work very well as a team to make sure customers get there orders right and with quality.“

Cons: My only critique is that the size of the drumsticks and thighs are too small for the price. The wings from Buffalo Wild Wings have similar amount of meat as the drumsticks and thighs I got from Chicken Shack. ?“

“Pollo Chapin is a fantastic little lunch or dinner spot in Southwest Detroit. If you're expecting traditional Guatemalan food, there are a few staples like tamales on the menu, but the real star here is the fried chicken. The chicken was cooked fresh and was absolute crispy and delicious perfection. The side dishes range from french fries, to salads, to black beans, all of which are enjoyable. While I waited for my meal, the restaurant also provided a cup of flavorful chicken noodle soup, that puts the typical bland versions of the dish to complete shame.Worth noting that the restaurant has it's own parking lot and the dining room, while small, had several four-top tables for seating.“

And the buffalo sauce tasted great!! My fiance got a cheeseburger and he loved it! Definitely tasted super fresh, not frozen. We got mozzarella sticks and you got 6 with the order. “This was truly a religious experience. I’ve never had fried chicken or potato wedges like this before! Chicken was so crunchy and juicy inside with the perfect seasoning. Potato wedges were seasoned perfectly as well, crispy on the outside and mashed potato on the inside. They were out of biscuits so I can’t comment on that but all of this for $5! Unreal.
