“Great environment for a game or if you're a sports fan. Staff is usually pretty personable but can be very overwhelmed. Especially on a game day. It just seems it may be time for hiring. Maybe time to expand operations.

The burger was delicious. And the jalapeño poppers taste fresh. My advice would be hire some wait staff. At least part time for game days“

“Food was delicious we just had appetizers and the smash burger tacos and chicken bites were so yummy, but the best part was the bartender and the service! Shawn was our bartender and I have not had such a friendly, helpful, nice, bartender/server since before covid. Thats what customer service should be like again! “What a great little restaurant with a great view of the Detroit River you can sit outside and enjoy a great view when having a awesome dinner. We were going to the casino for a show so we decided to take a walk and found Eastwoods and I’m glad we did. This was a great way to start my 49th birthday night off great friendly people Lexi as our server she was so awesome fun and could joke around with us goof balls,we met the owner she is awesome as well very friendly she took the time to stop by each table that’s great to see. We all had different chicken dinners and were all great I will be going back soon.“

“Amazing pub - was confusing a bit because the bar is separate from the kitchen so you’ll receive two bills *just as a heads up. But it’s a pretty neat idea to go up to a little window and order your food. Pulled pork tacos were mouth watering amazing!! Highly recommend with the Brazilian pasteis which were light bite size apps (tried the beef filled). The staff was an absolute delight and couldn’t be more happy with the service and quality of the food.“

“The food is delicious and the service is fantastic! My only complaint is how loud the place has become. Not too long ago, it was more of a restaurant than a bar. Lately, however, it has become more like a noisy college bar than a restaurant. I still plan on coming here once in a while.“

“This is our go-to restaurant at the MGM Detroit and it served up another winner last week. It has been getting busy at times but the staff is always friendly and helpful and there is usually space at the bar. Food is solid and the games are always on TV. It’s a one stop shop before and after attending events downtown. We’ll keep going to TAP!!

“Great service. Great food. We had the sausage/cheese platter, and their pretzels. Pretty tolerant of two Kentucky boys who hit the beer pretty hard the two nights we dropped in. The place had a good crowd both nights. Nice little pub. If I'm ever up that way again, it'll be one of my first stops.“

You could say divey or hipster, but also all-inclusive. Usually good more-modern indie music playlist which is appreciated. Chris was a great bartender but I think he's unfortunately moved on, will be missed. Spacious covered patio out back is good for smokers & has some fun games (cornhole, connect4, etc). Beware - the Peanuts are addictive!“

She wouldn't let anyone use said paper towel without "tipping" first. A woman nearby tried to tip one dollar and she said it wasn't enough for a piece of paper towel.
