It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. Plus, it was on a sheet of parchment/wax paper that was completely stuck to the crust & impossible to peel off! “We order Carlo’s for dinner often! Almost weekly! We had our son’s birthday this last week and we ordered 2 party trays of pizza, 75 wings & a large catered size Cesar salad. We originally hoped for the pizza to be thin crust as that’s what we usually always ordered but were informed that the party size only comes in deep dish, but we were ok to give it a try. None the less, everything was amazing! Fresh & hot! We always order wings & knew those would be a hit. There were a lot of compliments on the salad! Also a first try for me and will definitely be apart of our future orders! We also just might be rotating out a deep dish pizza and thin crust from now on. Carlo’s exceeded our expectations and we are so glad we chose them. Definitely recommend for large events & or just a regular pizza night for dinner 😊“

It has become my restaurant of choice to celebrate my birthday for many reasons. I love that they keep the beautiful patio open even during the hottest of days (which is usually what it is for my July birthday), they have the best seasonal menu additions that use local ingredients, and their laid back yet elegant charm is exactly what we always look for. The food is amazing! We love unfussy food that lets the quality ingredients shine and the raclette with a touch of honey just makes me grin from ear to ear (not to mention the tomato soup that is out of this world). The Frulingzauber "spring magic" cocktail is my favorite of all time. I would drink one every day for the rest of my life if I could. Of course, none of this would matter if the people weren't wonderful at Alpino, but they are just as warm and inviting as the food. I loved that they all signed a birthday card for me when we were there last. This is definitely a gem of a place that you don't find everywhere.“

“I would just like to start off by saying our server, Carter, was so charming and caring! He is fantastic at his job and sure knows how to elevate service! So much attention to detail and making sure my group was comfortable throughout our stay. The chicken alfredo is okay but nothing that stands out from another Italian restaurant. Although two of my group members loved the octopus! They couldn’t stop talking about how good the sauce was and ordered bread specifically to keep trying it. The environment was amazingly dark but still lit! Took my group of four 20 minutes to be sat on a Friday night.“

The drinks were good and paired really nice with the Tuscan chicken I had that was beyond fresh and very filling. My mom had the lemon chicken, as she described the chicken was very juicy and tender to a T. The portion of the pasta given makes everything great, from the taste and flavor while, if need you could take it home! The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. “Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

“We ordered a huge catering order. We needed to feed 50 people, this could have fed 80 or more. We had so much leftovers for people to take home- and they loved the food.
