“Everything was good. It was our first time there.. I don’t appreciate the fact that they write in the tip without telling you .I had to go back because I double tipped and nobody said anything . They let me do it without saying a word.. they should tell you that they’re adding the tip in before you pay the bill. I didn’t realize what I did until I got to my car. I had to go back and straighten it out at the restaurant. I have four kids under the age of five. It wasn’t easy for me to do this. When you’re at the table with four kids and you’re trying to pay the bill, you don’t have time to look at it to see that the tip was added in. I gave the Service five stars because I think it was good Service. I just don’t like the idea of that she knew that all this was going on ,and didn’t remind me they had already put the 20% in .“

“My husband and I saw a review of Sicily's, and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! We got the deep dish, and an order of meatballs, for take-out. It was an hour drive to get home. I had a bite of it while it was cold, and it was super good! I put the rest of the piece in the air fryer, and it was amazing. The sauce is fresh tasting, and the crust was crispy on the bottom, and chewy in the middle. The cheese on the edge was slightly brown, and crisp, just the way I like it. This was absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot in my almost 65 years! Meatballs? Another best ever! Tender and so much flavor, with a good amount of marinara, so that every last meatball has as much as you could want. It was DEFINITELY worth the trip, and well worth the money! I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! And to top it off, the Chef/Manager was SO nice and friendly! We had a very nice chat with him about the sourdough, and the restaurant, and how much he loves what he does. And you can tell! I highly recommend trying this place, they are about 1 block off of the freeway, and easy to get to.“

“GB’s is my #1 spot for vegan options. They also offer gluten free dough—and they’ve done a fabulous job recreating it people like me who have issues consuming gluten. The environment is laid back, easy & chill. And the view is spectacular on Michigan Ave. Grabbing a seat at the bar—no problem! You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. The variety of pizza options are many to choose from. And the staff are really personable & quick with service & a smile. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“My sister and I were running late for the airport, we totally forgot to factor in Detroit pizza takes like 30 minutes. But we couldn't leave Detroit without trying it! The M&T gentleman at the front was kind enough to offer us a soon to be ready cheese pizza! It was either cheese or pepperoni which was perfect because I love a nice and simple cheese pizza. We just needed a quick snack, a girl lunch so we asked for one slice, split in half. I dropped tomato sauce all over my pants biting into it...it was worth it. The stain and the almost missed flight ☺.“

“Tried for the 1st time last night. The pizzas and cheese bread tasted great. The only negative thing I have to say is that the crust is hard, but nothing was burnt. Tried the normal crust, GF crust, and the cheese bread. All 3 had hard crust.“

“The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! “If you want a place that can handle a meat-loving pizza guy and a chicken shawarma-loving wife without missing a beat, Table 53 is it. The pizza was perfectly thin and crispy, and the shawarma was incredible. Just when we thought it couldn't get better, the chef sent over a free apple pie. “Dave Portnoy was right in his video, the pizza here is incredible 🤩 I ordered a medium Portnoy cheese pizza which had a nice crispy crust with a good amount of sauce and the cheese is fully melted without being oily 🤤 Expect to wait around 40 minutes because you have to order there, no online or phone orders, you grab a ticket when you walk in and wait until they call your number to order 🍕The wait is worth it and it's good if you're not a rush and want a real pizza that's not fast food and is fresh 🔥“

The customer service was also exceptional. The gentleman who helped us was incredibly kind, welcoming, and provided amazing hospitality. He made us feel comfortable and truly cared about our experience. It’s not every day you come across someone who puts so much kindness and warmth into their work.

I also really appreciated how welcoming everyone was with my service dog. It meant so much to feel comfortable and accepted while enjoying our meal.
