I first discovered them at pop up they had near Campus Martius, but finally got to go to their new home on Holden. The interior is pretty small, so not best for big groups but a date night or for a party of two is just fine. I wish it was closer to me so I could get take out. We got the Packard Pepperoni and the Mclovin pizza. Both were excellent, I loved the origniality of the Mclovin which was a nod to like a big mac. Anytime I can go again, I definitely will be. Check out this gem if you want to really know what Detroit style pizza is like.“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! “Went here for about three hours on my first visit to Detroit with my fiancé. She grew up on this place. I have traveled the world and believe this is the best pizza I have ever had. Also, their sandwiches are incredible Ashleigh the bartender was so cool and fun to interact with as were the rest of the patrons that were there.

Can’t wait to visit again. Will be a “must” meal next time I am in Detroit.“

“I haven't had a single bad experience here since the new owners took over. The food has been awesome, the employees are great, and it's not dingy and gross like some other places around.

Thin crust BBQ chicken is great, and my kid loves the cinnamon stix. My coworker said they have pretty good boneless wings, but I haven't tried those yet! 😉

When I was in last week, there was an Uber Eats driver picking food up, but being really rude. He tried to take stuff out of their cooler and walk out without paying for it. Dude was causing a big scene like he was allowed to steal, and the owner was not losing their crap on 'em. Good on them, it has to be hard keeping your cool in that situation.“

The Inside of the store is very clean and taken care of, with comfortable seats.

We needed a large last minute catering order due to another local store not having our order when we went to pick it up and family was arriving in minutes for our sons first birthday party! Sarokis staff was so friendly, accommodating and provided excellent food! Our 50 piece order ready very quickly! The small antipasto salad was HUGE, fresh, and loaded with all the good stuff. They make their own dressing(which is delicious), and give you a generous portion of their homemade garlic bread with it. The cheesy bread was perfect, too.
