“Honest review - my friend suggested I try this spot, I’m used to eating pizza from places like Pizza Hut, hungry homies, etc. mostly chains. Never tried real authentic pizza before. “It was lunch time and the staff wouldn't stop apologizing about being behind. Everything was ok with it because we knew what we were getting. “It was date night for the girlfriend and I and we couldn't decide where to go so I remembered hey there's a new spot in the neighborhood we should check it out. I hopped on Google saw the pictures of the inside and thought this might not be fancy enough for an official date night but that's where I was wrong. I walked in and the place was empty and I got a tad nervous yet again because although I will woof down just about anything she on the other hand is picky about a few things. After we were seated I felt slightly uncomfortable because the menu was fancy but I didn't feel as though I had to be dressed in my best to be here. As we waited they kicked into the perfect wingman mode lol....they turned the romantic music on.... the chef sent over a few items for us to try and every single bit of everything I ate was fantastic! I got the shrimp she got steak and for the first time in 13 years I watched my girlfriend eat every bite she put in her mouth lol...and she added not a single seasoning. It's very rare nowadays to go out to a place and feel like the place genuinely cares...so I say....if you have kids who are getting older and need a local spot to take their dates....if you want to support local business....if you want amazing food at a fair price....or if you just want to try something new..check out Pastaloni! I will be a recurring customer and I'm extremely confident that if you give it a try......you will too“

“Buddy's pizza was close to our hotel. Had detroit style pizza before, but it was never that great. Shared a 4 square and it was plenty for 2 people. Bocce beer was good too. We actually went back a second time the next night. The crust is the best part, crisp and doesn't sag like most.“

And the salmon with broccoli is so juicy and satisfying also the chicken margarita with pesto and Parmesan and broccoli is delicious and a bit more filling! I'm pretty frugal and the prices to me are a bit high (around $20) our bill for 3 of us was $72 and would have been more but waitress asked manager to subtract. From completing the contract & selecting our menu to the day of the event, all went perfect. Laurel has pre-made sandwiches and salads. Fruit salad. Desserts. However, I almost always get a daily special here. From 11-2 they feature 2 different main dishes, 2 carb sides, a vegetable and 2 soups. You can mix and match to your content. I usually get the main with two sides. It comes with freebie bread and butter on request. I love the bread so I always get some. Some of my fave mains are the Italian sausage, the turkey and any of their Italian chicken dishes. I love their mashed potatoes and various pastas but my fave side ever is the peas with mushrooms and pearl onions. Really I haven't had any clunkers, just some things are more to my particular taste than others. I love the rotating menu.
