“Little hole in the wall that is AMAZING. Great rolls. Kind and attentive staff. My wife and I eat sushi regularly and this is notably good.

It looks like they probably do more take out than dine in.

Definitely recommend and will almost certainly find an excuse to be back here next time we are in town.“

“0 out of 5 did not have a good experience it was a long piece of hair in my food and they only took 2 dollars off i was disgusted after eating the majority or my food couldn’t finish and the manager response is this isnt our hair the hair was longgggg and curly i have braids the waiter was really nice but the manager wasnt he even brought the plate back to the table with the hair“

“Cute little sushi restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. I’ve dined in and had this delivered and both were great. Food always comes out fast and correct. They have a decent amount of tables or you can sit at the sushi bar and watch the sushi be made. I’ve never had to wait for a table (even at peak dinner time).

The miso soup is a must have. Piping hot, simple and delicious. I’ve only had sushi here but everything has been great. They offer daily specials which are great for trying rolls you normally wouldn’t get. My favorite is the Las Vegas roll. If you added salmon to a jalapeño popper, that’s this roll!“

“Doordashed New York Sushi tonight. Philadelphia roll was meh, sort of room temperature and slightly soggy and slimey. Not great. Vegas roll however was fried goodness. Loved the coating, loved the crunch, loved the flavors, loved the jalepeno. The smell of the ginger was fantastic. The rice was cooked well and not hard. Philadelphia roll tasted like they got some lox from the bagel house and put them with a slimey avocado and everything sat on the counter too long. Hope I don't get sick.“

“Was not expecting this place to be a part of the Hook and Reel restaurant. The Ramen was fair, I would rate it 5 of 10, 10 being the Best ever. The portions are Big, we couldn't finish our Bowl.
We Both chose Chicken for our ramen, but it was very dry and tough. Maybe precooked then added to the broth? Plus the boiled egg in the Ramen was ice cold in the middle?
It is a little strange sitting in a Seafood place having Ramen, but the restaurant overall was nice, clean, with 2 sections, 1 for Hook & Reel the other for Kinya. They just sat us on the H&R side. They are Both the Same room. Different Menus. Our service was good as well. Friendly Staff.
We prefer this location over the Taylor store. Always looking for a good Ramen.“

“We dined in and the service was so good, friendly and sweet, and the atmosphere is cozy and has a charming and personal feel. The food was so delicious, my fiancé had the nabeyaki udon, the broth was so delicious, and I had a crab and shrimp tempura chili bowl which was so tasty and fresh, and we got some sushi rolls too. Everything was vibrant and excellent. Thank you and we will be back🙏😊💛“

“Hadn't been in a long time but the sushi was great. The service was also really good. The only complaint I have is the guy behind the sushi counter was staring a hole into my forehead several times throughout my lunch date. It was as if he didn't want us there.“

“Really nice folks and beautiful interesting interior. Been on my list opening 4 months ago. Ordered Pupu Platter, Chinese Scallion Pancakes, Large Chinese Veggies Soup and Chicken Egg Foo Young. Surprised when eating inside no plates or silverware. Everything brought out in to go containers that's okay. Absolutely fantastic Delicious Scallion Pancakes not found in many places. The quart of Spot packed full was good except broth zero flavor like water. Chicken Egg Foo Young nothing like ever had weird crunchy patties with very small amount of gravy. The very good Rice and a mega amount. Egg Roll spot on Wonderful. The bad absolutely worse ever Pupu Platter Chicken Wings dry, Crab Rangoon Yuk, Shrimp heavy batter couldn't taste Shrimp. Ribs just ok, Spring Rolls a winner and what they call Teriyaki Beef I know as Balamaki was great. I'm willing to give them another chance to change my 3 star rating. Great effort by cook just not up to par with dozen other Chinese restaurants in the area.“
