“We had a lovely lunch on the porch of Fischer’s Happy Hour Tavern. My friend really enjoyed the special fried chicken. It was fresh and crispy and accompanied by really well made Cole slaw and crispy fries. I enjoyed the turkey Reuben along with my friend’s husband. The turkey was fresh and the coleslaw and Thousand Island dressing were the perfect complement in the fresh rye bread. Ian, our sever, was knowledgeable and attentive. This is a great place to stop if you’re driving between Leland and Northport.“

“Green Bird is a little slice of Heaven! They even practice sustainable farming via their “flerd“ (flock of chickens and herd of sheep) who rotate through each row of vines. I sat down and immediately signed up for the wine club because I knew this was something I wanted to support! And yes, the server was new this season but very knowledgeable and warm. No high-brow wine snobbery here! P.S. wine and cheese pairings are fantastic.“

“The waitress Julie, gave us phenomenal service. She was upbeat and so pleasant! The 3 other women that I was with, agree that we all had an unforgettable dining experience. The food was awesome as well! We were fascinated by the drink pictured and all of us kissed the fish for luck, then ate it, too“

“Party of four had dinner there on July 4, 2025. Food was good, but not as advertised on the menu. The apple salad was small and did not have candied walnuts on it and the nachos had no cheese on them. The 1/2 ribs that my husband ordered were tasty, but we ended up ordering cheesy fries after our meals because we were still hungry. The ribs came with coleslaw and nothing else.The server was friendly and efficient.“

“Hop Lot is one of my favorite breweries that I have been to! I live in mid Michigan and try to make it there at least once a year.
Their beer garden is just beautiful! If it is warm out, they have tables with umbrellas and if it is colder out, they have fire pits, which are perfect to sit by to warm up and eat or drink by!
Their beer is awesome and the food is great too!
If you have not been here, you definitely need to go at least once!“

“We are locals and frequent Hawkin’s Farm Cellars a lot. The service is friendly and the Thai food is exceptional. My husband especially loves the Pad Thai chicken and I am a huge fan of the Green Curry dish. You could literally close your eyes and just point to anything on the menu and never be disappointed!“

“I have been to the Traverse peninsula Mission location several times but this was my first trip to the Sutton Bay location which is the original location. The place is absolutely beautiful. We arrived at the dog friendly outdoor tasting area and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful host. I apologize but I do not remember his name. He was very attentive to our needs and made several suggestions about the wines. We also had a snack and left with several wines. This years (2026) Cherry wine is fabulous. You are going to want several bottles for home. The Vinters Select is great too. Must go to place for sure!!“

“We thoroughly enjoyed this little spot overlooking historic Fish Town and the water. You could seat yourself and because it was a colder than normal summer day, we had the seafood chowder which was out of this world! Just a cute, simple, easy, historical spot to stop.“

“Great food but gets extremely busy and backed up apparently and they don’t seem to handle that well. I called in a takeout order and was given an estimate of 1 hour, was then called back and told it would actually be 1 hour and 40 minutes. Then when i showed up at that time i still had to wait 15 minutes longer.“
