“I’d say "try at your own risk." Our first visit today was a bit of a letdown. We were seated at a very cramped table despite plenty of booths being open and only a party of two got them. ​As for the food : ​Chicken Flatbread: Good flavor, but the bacon was too hard to eat. ​Chicken Alfredo: Very dry and lacked seasoning. ​Spaghetti w/ Alfredo: My daughter found her meal way too greasy to enjoy. ​Shrimp Al Forno: Very poor value—only 3 shrimp in the whole serving. ​It wasn't a "terrible" experience, but we definitely won't be rushing back.“

“First Italian restaurant I have been to since I have been here. This place is awesome. Nicole took care of me and she was awesome. Best service I have had since I have been Ohio. Food was excellent. The couple playing live music, were fun and sounded great. I loved everything about this place.“

Kim, the event planner, was incredible. She was organized, attentive, and made the entire planning process stress-free. She truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect.

Our waitresses, Dina and Aubree, were amazing as well — friendly, professional, and so attentive to our guests. They made everyone feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire event.

“Have been going here for along time. First time ordering pizza though. I ordered extra sauce which I did not get and only ate a few slices. I asked to get extra sauce to take home and the waitress said it would cost $2.00 more. But she wasn’t sure. We had to ask again about the sauce after we paid the bill. She said they would not give us extra sauce!! Hmmm!! Really? So for all you that like extra sauce on your pizza… they don’t do that! Also, the waitress never took any of our dirty dishes away.“

“The best deep dish you’ll ever have (when you can’t go to Chicago). It’s a must to go to before a game, concert, or just strolling downtown Toledo. I consistently make a point to stop there whenever I can when going back home to Ohio. Service has always been excellent. Servers are always friendly and kind, even when outrageously busy. Prices are incredibly reasonable for how much you’re getting. I’ll never not love PizzaPapalis.“
