“I came in today to order my favorite sandwich the maplehouse and like always. The service was excellent. The staff were very polite well oriented. Especially the young man manager. I remember the visit I had with my friend last week when a rude and very disrespectful customer came in and started getting upset with the manager taking his order. All the manager did was ask him what could he get for him after greeting him into the building. And the guy just lost it. The manager was trying to calm the guys down and get him to leave but he was too hot headed and refused. He cursed at the manager and left outside the building. He returned and told the manager that he wouldn't treat me and my friend that way because we were white. I as well as my friend were appalled and offended that he would even say something so silly and make the interaction a racial issue when indeed it wasn't. As me and my friend were about to leave the manger said to the guy he would call the police if he doesn't leave because he's scaring the customers with the negativity. So the guy decided to leave once and for all. Before I left I apologize to the young manager that he had to deal with someone like that and to not let one bad encounter ruin his day. He was doing a great job and to keep it up.”

“The food here is great. This was our 1st time here. We were here all the way from Wisconsin for an event and i asked who got the best soul food in town and was told to stop by Cornbread. Amazing food, and service, and the place was clean. The Staff went above the call of duty. Ms. Donya if you see this, you are a JEWEL! This lady was right on time with everything. We visited the restaurant on Friday upon arrival to Michigan and was the first customers on Sunday 11:30AM as we were leaving from Michigan to return home. Go here, you will not be disappointed. The PRICE IS RIGHT.....and the Staff is BRIGHT!”

“Tried this place for the first time today! Rider was my server and he was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable funny and sweet. Genuinely had such a good time just being in his presence and he was very attentive! Tried the flaming fig, although without the jam. Didn't personally find it too spicy without the jam, although my friend found it slightly spicy with the jam. Either way it was the most delicious grilled cheese ever. Great wine selection, and don't be afraid to try the espresso drink made with blood orange soda, it was very good! On the store side of things, there was a great selection of product and the service was great. Will definitely tell as many people as possible about this place and will come again!”

“Food was good and service was acceptable (nothing special) but you had a group of 5 guys leave your restaurant last night somewhat bewildered after your waitress Katarina made it quite clear she was not happy with the 20% tip we gave her. Apparently, our stay of about 3 hours eating and drinking was excessive. We may not be back.”

“This place was incredible. We are from out of town, and it’s so good that I would drive back here to eat again. My husband said it’s the best pizza he’s ever had, and I AGREE!! It was so good we came back!!! We ordered SIX different pizzas and they were all DELICIOUS. And the fries tasted like heaven! Good salad too!!! “Valentines day dinner! Was greeted with valet service when we pulled in. Taken straight to our table. Food, drinks and service was all great! There was a special valentines menu for tonight and we got branzino and filet for dinner both were fantastic! Dessert was even better! Only missed opportunity was our table wiggled but the server made an attempt to fix it. Would highly recommend this place!”

“I order fairly regularly the tacos and chips and dips. All have been quite flavorful and delicious. I've been less impressed by the bowls and burritos as in general all can be overpowered by sauces. Great rewards program gives discounts and points often. The interior is fun but this store is a bit dark on the interior making it hard to read menus. Service is friendly and standard for service these days. Easy online ordering and pickup. Overall great if your looking for more American-styled Mexican food with punchy flavors.”
