“I hard a five star experience all around. I called my order in on a Thursday for Superbowl Sunday. The phone conversation was very pleasant with the lady who answered the phone.I ordered a classic strawberry cheesecake and a pineapple upside down cheese cake. I got there on Saturday and my order was complete and ready to go.The gentleman behind the counter (Ed) was personable, pleasant and we had a conversation about the Detroit Lions.I had a great experience and the cakes were delicious. “I was looking for an elegant cake in Royal Oak area for a baby shower event that I was organizing remotely. I loved a design I found at Treatzzz website and reached out. The process to order was extremely hassle free. I got response very fast and I requested some last minute additions to the design. I received such a lovely cake with some polar bears and snowflakes since I had mentioned that it was a winter and polar bear themed shower. I appreciate how thoughtful you were and how easy you made the entire process for someone like me ordering from out of the state. And yes, the flavor was amazing. The cake was the star of our event. “We are from toledo and drove by this place and stopped in. He had several options of cheesecake and regular cake. The prices weren't bad, 45$ for a whole cheesecake, which I feel is pretty reasonable as cheesecake is usually pretty pricey. He (the owner) was very nice and friendly and recommended banana pudding cheesecake. We took the recommendation and was glad we did. It was excellent. Banana pudding, only cheesecake. We also got a piece of German chocolate cake. The cake was unbelievably moist and also very good. I'd say if you're going to a function, bring one of these cakes and show off. We will definitely make the hour drive and come back! I really want to try the strawberry or superman cheesecake that were also options.“

However, there is little to no filling. What did I pay for? The custard bun is almost nonexistent. You can see a very light layer and almost hollow inside. The Danish bun top layer on the outside was flaky and flavorful but the custard inside of this one was not for me.I would say that the the egg tarts are pretty good, as well as the fried savory dumpling 咸水角 like pastry.“

“I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the meat pies with their mystery hockey puck of meat.My family has been shopping this store since the 1950s and have always had excellent food. The last 2 shopping trips have had great results on the sausages, but the meat pies have been atrocious.I will continue shopping as I have found no better replacements, but I will no longer be ordering the meat pies and that makes me so sad.Please return to the former glory of having the pies filled with loose meat and not the horrid hockey puck of weirdly frozen flavor.“
