“Stumbled across this place because the sign doesn't hint towards it being a restaurant. I ordered the fried pork chops with greens and dressing and it was pretty good, I do wish the greens were seasoned but other than that I will be returning.“

“I didn't go inside to get the atmosphere. But they appear friendly over the phone. The bacon is not a thin piece of bacon (a half) and the patty is seasoned. I like the concept of one not having to worry so much about the coins at the end of a meal and fries and onion rings aren't expensive to go with the burger!Vegetarian options: They have veggie and chicken options. I bought the veggie nochos, I will have to give an opinion from the one I bought it for.“
“YES. LORD. It's a Thursday and I feel like I've had a Sunday meal. We googled this place (we are visiting from Kentucky) and the reviews were great so we pulled up! The food, seasonings, all that was on POINT. Truly. Real potatoes. The gravy on the smothered porkchops was... top notch. The porkchops themselves were so tender. The fried catfish, perfectly seasoned. It was great! The peach cobbler is a sin... like it's so good. The banana pudding is... so good. Just overall great! So refreshing to find something great! The atmosphere was 4 stars onlyyy because one of the tables were broken when we sat in to eat and about fell. Which has nothing to do with the food. Go there ANYWAY. 5 stars. Amen!“
“First visiting and everything was spectacular!! The owner greeted our table provided recommendations and told us about her next venture. Although it was crowded, food came out within 20 minutes of ordering and was hot. The blueberry butter is delicious ? You use it, and you don't need any syrup on your pancakes. We'll definitely be back to dine.“

I saw an article in the Freep that was about this little restaurant and the wonderful woman that lived in South Carolina that owns it. I thought to myself well... I need this. I haven't had good soul food since I lived in North Carolina! She did not have greens today due to catering for large parties this past weekend.... but ill be back for just about EVERYTHING! “I have not been in this place in years!! The service was great, the music was on point. i went for lunch. I ordered the fried chicken, mac n cheese and green beans. The chicken was fried excellently, the mac had a great flavor, the noodles were slightly overcooked; the green beans were tasty but again, slightly overcooked. I would return.“

“Held my grandmother’s repass. This place was recommended by the funeral home. Food was 5/5. They made it super easy on us by setting up and cleaning up the venue for us. Plenty of space for a repass of about 75 people. No complaints. The owner was very nice, accommodating and professional. The peach cobbler is outstanding. The meatball are great. All of the food was good.“
