“The food is absolutely delicious. It tastes fresh because IT IS. The service is so friendly and welcoming. I brought Mom here already and I’ll bring my entire family here. Note, there’s a small area to eat inside (2 tables) and there’s 1 table outside. This restaurant is geared more towards to-go orders but I’ve eaten here twice in the past few days and both times I ate onsite. I’ve had the chicken shawarma wrap, tabouli, falafel, hummus, and baklava, and it’s all been perfect. I’m looking forward to trying the steak on a bed of hummus!“

“Another day, another lunch out in the D. ?
I was greeted quickly once inside. Parked my kiester in a booth and looked the menu over. Not huge but a pretty good selection.
Ordered the Shish Kafta from the lunch specials because they come with two sides. Lentil soup & a salad for me.
Be aware! Nowhere on the menu, nor did the server say a word about it, but there is a $1 upcharge for salads. There is a small sign at the display case, maybe 4" x 6", but you'll never notice unless you're looking and why would you be? Half the seating doesn't even look that direction.
The food was delicious, the dressing on the aforementioned salad has a nice hit of lime in it. Very tasty.
The meat was well-seasoned and juicy, the vegetables lightly grilled, i.e., still crunchy.
When I mentioned the upcharge to the lady, she reached over the counter to point at the sign. I suggested they put it on the menus so customers can actually see it. New menus are supposed to be coming soon.“

Their staple dishes are leagues above the others, in a way that makes me not even consider other restaurants. If you need something for lunch, the Chicken Shawarma sandwich with a small side of garlic from Al Sultan should be on your list of considerations.“

The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. “Great fresh fast food, not super fast but typically 15 mins. They give you a lot of food! I love the 5pc lamb chops with rice and a salad. It’s enough to eat for 2 days. It also comes with a ton of bread and garlic spread. The staff is always friendly and the food is ready when I arrive. I do give grace when running behind because it’s worth the wait. Price is reasonable for the quality of food you’re getting.“

“I normally frequent the brownstone location. however in my work travels sometimes I stop by the 14 n Woodward location. today I got a bowl and had a few problems. 1 the lid wasn't on all the way so now got food all over my clothes and inside my vehicle. also the pieces of meat were big and not sliced up. How tf is someone supposed to eat that with a plastic fork ? it would of took 30 seconds to slice that up for a bowl, instead it was left whole. normally the food is great, but today was not good.“
