“Was OK. Portions were a bit smaller than a normal Mexican restaurant in proportion. Food was decent. Could have used a bit more seasoning. A Margarita in a small rock glass was $12. They also are one of the restaurants that are starting to charge 3% for using a credit card just like some gas stations. Just hurts the waitstaff and makes the customer experience unpleasant by surprising you with this when they bring the tab. Should be posted out front so that people are aware upfront of this hidden cost.

“Great food options for a smallish bar. There is a chef there during week (Tues-Fri?) who offers handwritten menu of specials. We had the baked meatballs (delicious) and the Cajun shrimp scampi (added more heat). One of our favorite places for smaller group dinners!“

“One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! I had the house omelet and it was phenomenal. My family and I shared other dishes and everything was very very good. All came out piping hot. And this was on a busy Sunday morning! Portions are generous. Service was top notch. Very clean. Definitely coming back, no question.“

“Where do I even start! This is hands down, the premier cigar bar! I’ve gone to a few others and they don’t compare to DCs. Chris and Donny (owner) has done an incredible job. First off, the ventilation. On a packed night, the place isn’t even overly cloudy or smokey, great ventilation. Their humidor also offers a great selection of cigars at affordable prices. Next the food. Everything in the menu is top notch and other very affordable. The steak bites, deviled eggs, burgers, fries, everything, 5 out of 5. Now, the atmosphere, unlike any other cigar bar. It’s classy, looks good, clean, and always has a great mix in music and tv selection. They also have a hell of a drink selection, very impressive. Lastly, the staff. I’ve become a regular over the last six months and have had the pleasure to work with some of the best in the business. Sarah and Rheanna are amazing, they don’t get any better than these two! They’re friendly, treat you like they’ve known you for years, professional and know their business. Most would say they do this for the tips, they don’t. They do it because that’s just who they are, just friendly and sweet. Joe is also one hell of a guy! Everybody on the staff makes time for you. The moment you walk in, they greet you by name. They have an incredible staff, that’s what keeps you coming back. Thank you all for making this place a great spot to sit down and enjoy a night out, whether a date night, a guys night out or even just a solo night to grab a drink and a cigar! “My husband and I love going to Stray Cat Lounge for date nights—we’ve been there countless times! The live music is always so much fun, with a great variety of styles. They have an excellent drink selection, and I especially love ordering a chocolate martini from Nick, the bartender, who makes fantastic drinks. We also enjoy smoking cigars while we’re there.

The atmosphere is lively and fun, with cool cat-themed decorations that give the lounge a unique vibe. Whether it’s a date night or a night out with friends, I highly recommend Stray Cat Lounge!“

“Went on a busy Tigers opener and had to park on the street, parking lot was full. Nice drink specials and wait staff got to us fast considering how crowded it was. Ordered an Italian calzone and a Philly Cheese Steak calzone and they were delicious. Had we knew how big they were we would have ordered one and split it, but we have lunch for tomorrow. Good experience all the way around at Tony J’s. 😋“

“Went there yesterday with my husband for our anniversary dinner. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table for dinner. All staff were super friendly and courteous. I had the Perch Piccata which was amazing. It was a very large portion so I had plenty to take home for another meal. My husband enjoyed his Bolognese which was also a very large portion. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back soon.“
