“My son is so picky, yet he ate the chicken tender and fries, he loved it and finished his plate. The fish was soo good. when the guy knew that we are traveling he packed the Hummus in a bag of ice to keep it cool. Sarah was sooo helpful and nice. I love the atmosphere in this restaurant. “😋This was the first time that I have eaten at River Rat. The food was sooo delicious!! My husband Larry and I had the Chicken Breast Montreal, I had coleslaw, and Chicken Noodle soup, and he had mashed potatoes, and green beans with his. His brother Mike, had the baked Walleye. The rolls were sooo yummy!! Many thanks to our waitress Tayler! She was so nice, and kind, and onpoint!! I give this rating a 5 Star!! We shall be back!“

“My husband & I had our anniversary dinner here for the first time. We got the calamari for an appetizer which was the best we ever had! He ordered the ribs, I had the crab stuffed shrimp, and creme brûlée for dessert! The bread, the side salad, the coleslaw… literally everything was absolutely delicious! And on top of the yummy food, our waitress April was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience even better! We definitely found our new favorite restaurant!“

“Went there yesterday with my husband for our anniversary dinner. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table for dinner. All staff were super friendly and courteous. I had the Perch Piccata which was amazing. It was a very large portion so I had plenty to take home for another meal. My husband enjoyed his Bolognese which was also a very large portion. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back soon.“

“Went for an early dinner corn chowder was PUKE IN A BOWL ordered fish and chips to my surprise Chef is using low quality Pollock for high quality Cod talked to mgr and she had few profanities and hung up phone I have been a Chef for many years and detected this right off the bat don’t let them steal your money on low quality products 2pc $1799 and 3 pcs $20.99 they were 2oz pcs of fish!!? I had bad experience a few years ago at Terry’s thought we would give it a try even after my wife strongly objected have to bow down to her SHE WAS RIGHT AGAIN???“

“Friendly . Cashier he is great and patient. I like the deals and they have good coleslaw and fries . I didn’t care for chicken just because it had a little smell and bone was really dark but the fish was pretty decent. Overall you at least get your moneys worth.
The atmosphere isn’t terrible just need maybe some new cushions on the bench it’s really just a order walk in grab your food type of place.“

“I’m from UP State Ny. The last time I came home I have been dying to come here. I had the 6oz. fillet. Its was to die for!!! So, for my birthday this year I wanted to go back! Everyone ordered, I ordered my fillet Med/Rear Well it was more Med/Well and I didn’t like it. The waiter agreed. They took it back and brought me the most perfect Fillet!!!! The service , the staff, the manager, each one was so so nice! The manager even gave us 3 free cream puffs! Will be back for sure! Best steak ever“

“I visited Chicken Delight for the first time yesterday evening around 7:30 PM, and I was thoroughly impressed. The chicken was exceptional—freshly prepared with perfectly golden-brown, crispy skin. The potatoes were delicious, and the coleslaw had just the right balance of flavors and texture. Even the rolls were soft and fresh, which really rounded out the meal. This experience definitely earned my return business, and I'll be coming back soon. (I hope they start selling honey as a condiment for the rolls and chicken.)“

“There aren’t many Chinese restaurants I like anymore, but decided to order a carry out tonight from China Town. It was some of the best Chinese I’ve had in ages. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The packaging was nice, leaking styrofoam. Everything had a secure lid. I got the house fried rice and it was so good! Had fresh pork, chicken, shrimp, and veggies in it for a small up charge. Nice sized shrimp too! Really so very pleasantly surprised! Will definitely be back.“

“It blows my mind to see so many unsatisfied customers leaving their reviews, all I got to say is the food was bomb, service was quick, and the place is clean , I think these customers never had Chinese before or they were expecting to be served like it was in actual china , of course your food isn’t going to come out as if it were served dining in , it’s going to be styrofoam when it’s closed causes the steam to make the taste, the look different because it’s in a carry out box.“
