“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. You won’t be a “just another customer” ~~ You’ll be a FRIEND!“

“I can't believe I never tried this place before today (especially cuz it's right down the road from our favorite ice cream place). The small antipasto salad was HUGE, fresh, and loaded with all the good stuff. They make their own dressing(which is delicious), and give you a generous portion of their homemade garlic bread with it. The cheesy bread was perfect, too. I can't wait to go back and get their pizza. They have a drive thru to pick up and the man at the window was extremely nice and pleasant. A+ food and service.“

Whenever we go to a different city, I always try to find at least 1 new plant based dish to try. I try to pick a smaller business and a place that has something unique. Detroit area has some outstanding choices for plant based food - more than a lot of cities. I would recommend More Life Foods as a top choice for a vegan, vegetarian, or an omni. I'm going to try to convince the boyfriend to swing through on the way back to Ohio so I can get another gyro.“

“First of all, we have gone to the original Green lantern on 12 and John R for the last over 50 years. Their pizza is the best so when the one opened up on 13 and Ryan, I was thrilled and I think their pizza is very good. Also, I have never gotten a bad pizza only one time was the Italian sub, a little dark and hard but I never complained we order from 13 and mound often like probably once a week and this time I ordered with one of their coupons and Was told I could not use it twicecould not use. I explained to them I just did it last week with the same type of order both totaling around $70 and I always leave a tip for them except this time often we have our pizzas delivered but the last two times we picked up. It struck me funny That they were OK last week and the girl actually didn’t know if she could but she asked the managing person that night and they said sure now mind you they don’t ask for the coupon so I could have used it the very next day again so I don’t get their logic For two dollars they are giving up anywhere from $40-$70 orders from me in granite. it’s not so much the two dollars at all. It was just the principle of it to give up those orders every week for two dollars putting a review on. So I will return to the 12 mile and John our store from here on, but I still love their pizza. When the fire scared her, she came over to comfort her and my daughter reached for her. She carried her around until she had calmed down. “I frequent this Panera Bread restaurant often when I visit my mom. I have had a couple snafu's on different occasions (as one does with any restaurant, such as a missing drink or chicken not being put on the side) & Corinna, the manager, has always helped me out with them with kindness, understanding, & patience. The snafu's haven't been catastrophic by any means but small minor mistakes. And she always goes out of her way to make things right. Reviews are not always for what that company got wrong but are also for giving the praise to someone who deserves it & I feel Corinna deserves it. I hope Panera Bread appreciates her & rewards her accordingly for excellent customer service!!“

I made a qick turn and we deicide to go in and get a table. Unfortunately for us they were closing however the hostess let us know that we still had time to order takeout. We split there classic sandwiche and it hit the spit. It was enough to tied us over till we got home. We will definitely be going back to sit and eat eat in.“
