“I went at 8pm on a Monday. They closed at 9pm and it was bumping like crazy. Drive thru went into the street. Service seemed slow until I got to the window. I don’t know if I have an easy order, but by the time I sign the bill I had the ice cream already. Amazing taste, great size, great price, nice employee. “Had a small hot fudge sundae with nuts, and it was great!! Very good portion more like a medium size...yum! We also bought two doggie sundaes which was ice cream with two small biscuits, my dogs approved!! This is our go to place in Holt. Friendly, clean, and a wide variety of sundaes, shakes, and flurries!“

“The decor is super cute! It was our daughter's birthday so she had to pose with the wall. We had never been in so we weren't sure of our options and there were no other customers in the building at the time, so I felt that the staff being frustrated with us was a little rude. The shakes were great but for basic blended ice cream it was pricey. They had a lot of flavors and their freezer was fully stocked on cute cakes. Overall, we would go back and recommend it to others.“
“One of the last old school drive thru/walk-up experiences you will find in Lansing. For decades this location has been the "Winter is over!" landmark that symbolizes an end to cold and freezing weather. Staff has always been top notch, and seems to be a continuous source for teens foyer to the labor market. Even when busy, this DQ acts as a melting pot for the south side, as people from all walks of life mingle as they await their preferred treat. I sincerely hope it is still here when my children turn 16 and could experience everything this place has to offer.“
“The place was very clean and the young lady working was very helpful and explained how the frozen yogurt and such is priced and we were able to try the flavor we hadn't heard of before, taro I think it was. 2 of us ended up getting it, so we were glad we got to try it. My daughter loved picking out her frozen yogurt and choosing from all the toppings.“
“I have had good service the several visits I have made in the last few years at this location. A couple items that are not often mentioned are the delicious fish dinner. In the picture is the 2 piece. There is also the 3 piece. Crispy flaky delicious fish. The only fault in this dinner is it is getting quite pricey for a fast food restaurant. I considered 4 stars based on that, but still gave them 5. The other item to try is the double Mushroom Swiss Burger, but add sauteed onions to it! Put a little mayo on it, delicious!“
“There's not enough I can say about this place. I grew up eating here several times a week. I lived right around the corner on Steele St so it was a must. This place has very reasonable prices and a huge selection to choose from.I have since moved away however whenever I am back in town it's a must stop. They are seasonal and only open Memorial Day through Labor Day. This place is everyone friendly even pets! I used to take my Rottweiler there every time we went for a walk and she would patiently wait for her cone to come out, once it did it did not last long. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The food that they serve has also been really good and again at a fair price when everyone else has raised prices. They have seating on the sides of the business and there's room to park all around the business. This is a Mason Michigan Staple, if you're ever passing through you have to stop in and get some ice cream. Yes I am bias but this is the best ice cream you will find, I love the Dairy Hill and will always go there when ever I am in town! Thank You Dairy hill for 40 plus years of my life for the best ice cream around!“
