“Absolutely love this place! I visit every time I'm in East Lansing to see my son at MSU. If we don't dine in I ALWAYS stop to take food to go to take home for later. Love all of the choices. One of my favorites are the jumbo chicken wings!! Wish this place had a location over by me in Troy!!“

“Though my food and waitress were not outstanding, what was outstanding was the manager at this location. Not only did he come over to deliver my drink and show us a cool trick, but he kept checking on us throughout the meal and went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction. Would come back just because of him.“

“I'm a truck driver who was delivering a load in the area and craving ramen. So, I found this place and ordered via Uber Eats. Let me start off by saying that the food is absolutely phenomenal. Everything tasted high quality and fresh. The food was packaged carefully. The broth for my spicy ramen didn't even leak! I also ordered the wontons in chili oil, which, again, were very fresh. The skin was thin, too, so it wasn't too doughy— just the perfect bite. My co-driver ordered the stir-fried udon with beef and enjoyed it immensely.
Now, onto the not-so-great details: this place is not very affordable with its high prices. It's the kind of restaurant you go to to Treat Yourself(TM). As delicious as it was, the spicy ramen came out to a whopping $39 with added toppings. Now, of course, it was my decision to add those toppings, so I'm not TOO hung up on that (mainly because I'm still trying to convince myself that the quality and taste at least made it worth a shot). But, nowhere on the menu or website does it describe what the ramen already comes with (no picture either), so it was either: 1) order and hope it comes with the usual toppings; or 2) ensure it has toppings by adding it myself. Normally, I would have no issue doing that, but keep in mind that the toppings range from $2.99 - $4.99 each. I think this restaurant could include more detailed descriptions for its dishes, and not just for the ramen. The item descriptions have VERY few words to begin with.
Moving on from the ramen itself, the prices for everything else I ordered were pretty high for the portion received. The scallion pancake was $11.95, but it only came with a single pancake. Usually, at that price, you'd get way more. The takoyaki was $10.95 with only 4 balls, and the signature sausage was $13.95 for what I'm pretty sure was only one sliced-up sausage. All were VERY good (the takoyaki was just okay), but the prices kind of killed it for us. Again, we're just sort of in a state of denial trying to convince ourselves it was worth it, because there is ZERO doubt that the food was amazing.
All things considered, I would come here again, but definitely only during a Treat Yourself(TM) day. Maybe next time, we'll try sitting in!“

“My only regret is not having come here before. The food was delicious and portions are very generous. I had their eggplant in garlic sauce but also had a chance to taste the orange chicken and Mongolian beef, which were also amazing. Service was fantastic and really fast. Highly recommend it and I will be back.“

“Food was very good for the price, service was welcoming and respectful! I hate the atmosphere in the community, seems like everyone is angry and not welcoming to someone who isn’t from there community! Lots and Lots of angry stares from total strangers! Im just going to hope everyone was having a bad day! But nothing is perfect and the food here makes you happy enough to let the little things slide!“

“This is a little more of a take out restaurant. There is only one table to sit at. We hadn't seen this restaurant advertised, just stopped in because we wanted Chinese. The menu is huge, the cook came out and asked if we needed anything and made sure we were happy with our purchase. I had the sweet and sour chicken, my husband had shrimp Lo Mein. The dishes were excellent. This is definitely a restaurant that we will go to again.“

“During my wonton soup addiction, this place is my absolute goto. The owner remembers his customers, and every detail of their orders. The atmosphere and service makes each visit feel like your visiting family. Thank you for perfect soup, every single time!“

“I was recommended this place by a friend and man was I blown away! The food was amazing (and obviously made from scratch in-house) and was very well priced, I got the 10 for 10 Crab Rangoons and a combination plate for $12 that I comfortably ate for dinner the day I got it and for lunch the next day because of the large portions!
But more so, my car battery died while I was outside of the restaurant because of the cold weather, and the Advance Auto Parts next door for some reason didn't have a jump pack at that time available (boooo!!) and PJs towing 5 minutes down the road wanted to charge me $65 for a jump (BOOOOO!!). So, I went back inside Won Ton on a whim and asked if anyone was able to get me a jump, and the young lady who took my order said of course, pulled around and gave me a jump no hesitation at all and even gave me a few tips for next time. I highly highly recommend them as I know I plan on making the trip there whenever I get the chance!
Few things to keep in mind when going there, it's takeout only which I'm very used to post-COVID (which is also why I gave the lower star rating on atmosphere but it's no fault of theirs), and they don't take Apple Pay so when I went in I paid for me and my friends orders but the same young lady offered to write down the exact numbers of how much their orders were to save me a bit of headache.
DON'T GATEKEEP!!!“

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Coconut Chicken in town!
I recently tried the Coconut Chicken and Fried Rice at Panda Gourmet, and it was easily a 5-star experience. The chicken was fried to a perfect golden crisp—light and airy, not heavy—and the coconut glaze had just the right amount of sweetness.
What really impressed me was the Fried Rice. It’s much darker and more flavorful than your typical side dish, with a deep, savory umami that balanced the sweetness of the chicken perfectly. Generous portions and everything tasted incredibly fresh. I’ll definitely be back!“

“You really gotta try it!! This is one of my favorite restaurants in the US; every time I order, I got those juicy meat balls, ribs, and pork belly; you haven’t experienced bliss before, wait until they melt in your mouth.
They come in big portions at reasonable prices, the re are only two person working in the shop, but what they deliver is not something to dismiss.
I haven’t tried the English menu so I can’t really comment on that, but my friends like the rice noodles, fried rice, and sweet & sour chicken.“

“Generally speaking, the food at Chen's is very good. I particularly enjoy their shrimp egg foo young and their fried wontons. Portions are a good size, and the cooks are conscientious of allergy concerns. My out-of-town friends like Chen's food, and this is where it becomes embarrassing. The restaurant interior is absolutely filthy - it is downright gross. For such a successful restaurant, there is absolutely no need for this. Indeed, the Health Department should be notified. This is a family business. The teen waitresses could use a tip in friendliness and manners, as well.“

“One of my favorite (if not my favorite) Chinese restaurants in the area. Food was fresh, plentiful, and FULL of flavor. My wife got the dry hot pot and it was an amazing value (total was $21 after picking the 7 fill ins), plus so incredibly robust and delicious. The sesame chicken was some of the best I’ve had. Rangoons were also excellent. HIGHLY recommend!!“

“I used to be a regular at this place when my office was just a mile away. I probably have not eaten here in 8 to 10 years. My go to dish was always Mongolian beef. I had it again and it was still as delicious as I remembered it. I'm not wild about the rice, and did not eat much of it. The main dish did not skimp on meat, which was good.“

“I’m a regular here. As a student, I prefer this over the Panda in the campus despite it being closer. The food is great. The staff is also very friendly. For the parking however, you gonna need to park in garage or somewhere else close by. Monday-Fridays during the school time is moderately busy but the food will be fresh. But even during low time, they would make new batches of entrees if requested. Shout out to Izaiah for amazing service always. I would recommend this panda over others in this area.“

“Good food and super fast as advertised! The chicken i got was labeled spicy, but i think that only applies if you’re polish or german or something… i would give it a 0.5/10 on the spicy meter… literally was sweet and sour chicken. Was GREAT… just …sweet.“
