“We stopped on the way home from Frankenmuth. We always stop when on trips up north. Today was HIGHLY disappointing. I ordered a corned beef sandwich. The bottom bread was soaked, I’m guessing someone didn’t drain the sauerkraut. I pointed it out. Instead of taking the plate to the kitchen to remake the sandwich she went to get a new bun. About 15 minutes later. I said EXCUSE ME , she said she’s waiting for them to make it ?? It wasn’t toasted or anything what’s to make ?? Still waiting…she brought me a piece of bun. Now the cheese is cold all in a clump and I had to make my own sandwich. I could have done that at home. I have NEVER not tipped until today. Most was brought home so I can warm it up and make it properly. I didn’t hit DO NOT RECOMMEND only because over 16 years this was the first incident. The waitresses handling of it was very poor !! And it wasn’t busy what so ever.“

“The food is usually pretty good. I especially enjoy their Slim Jim sandwich. We stopped for a late breakfast, and I should have ordered the Slim Jim. I had a breakfast bowl instead, and it was just a hot mess that gave me indigestion. I never even finished it. I am still giving them 4 stars because it wasn't their fault that I chose the wrong dish. I miss all of the Big Boys that have shutdown north of this location.“

“First of all great menu selection, and great food. But wanted to give a shout of thanks and praise to the waitstaff and management. Our large group really appreciated the accommodating, super friendly nature of the staff. They made us feel like family. We did get there just before the dinner rush the 2 nights we visited but they were quick to accommodate our 12+ group the first night and 25+ group the 2nd night. Everyone loved their food and our vegetarians had a lot to choose from too. Each night one waitress took care of our group and it was astonishing how quickly our orders were taken and our food was received. Management checked in on us regularly with friendliness that warmed our hearts. Thank you to everyone at Johnny’s Pour House for taking such good care of our volunteer Kingdom Hall roofers- The High Vis Gang?“

“It's been a while since we last visited Cracker Barrel, we are not regulars but every once in a while we have a craving for an old country style breakfast. While we have always had a good or neutral experience, today's was exceptional primarily due to the excellent and friendly service we received from our server Quentin. He is exactly what our workforce needs to remain competitive in the world today. It may sound trivial but as someone who has worked with the general public for 40 years, it's no small matter to satisfy and please the sometimes unreasonable demands people have. The type of service we received today from Quentin gives me hope that all is not lost in the service industry. Cracker Barrel is fortunate to have Quentin as part of their team. Thanks!“

“We went on the weekend and it wasn't crazy busy. Our waitress was really nice as was another waitress who would walk by and leave a drink refil.on her way by. Surprised my son everytime. Everyone I talked to was friendly and the food was amazing. Would recommend.“

“My family and I went out to eat last night (Saturday). The door was a little packed it was very busy, the wait for food was long but our server was very funny and entertaining and made it worth staying for. She also went out of her way for my nieces by offering her own paper and pens to draw on while they were having a hard time sitting for so long. Our servers name was Bre, she really made the visit worthwhile and we will always be asking for her when we come back!“
