My mom raced there in the middle of the night to grab several custom pizzas before they closed because it's my sister's favorite pizza place and she'd just gotten out of work. They were very nice and took our order even though they were preparing to close. And they brought it out to our car after the doors locked. Way above and beyond what we expected. Thank you for being so thoughtful! The pizza was fresh and delicious. Worth the drive from Grand Haven at 11:30pm! I'd share a picture, but we inhaled every slice! 😂”

Good luck finding them open, and Lord help you if you insist on sensible service, but the food is great and they will eventually get you things like: a refresh on your ice tea or catsup for your fries. “Had an awesome time Saturday, 3-1-25. Haven't been back to Herbie's in almost 20 years. Had a waitress that actually remembered my mother my father from when we used to meet there with our youngest daughter. Waitress and I apologize I forgot your name, you were outstanding, caring, and bubbly. She's been a waitress there for 25 years. A lot of the wait staff and staff had tie dye shirts with a logo on the back. Those were cute. Had the steak and eggs, American fries, Texas toast, coffee. Everything was excellent. The wife had standard two eggs bacon and toast. They've had to recently upcharge $0.50 per egg, like a lot of restaurants are because of the new price increase with the bird flu. Still, excellent money for the value that we got. Plenty of portions. Will try to go back soon, hopefully not as long as 20 years. The decor is quaint with airplane memorabilia hanging from the ceilings the walls and posters. Don home folk down home food downhome good time down home great value.”

Within seconds, there were three different staff helping clean up and getting us all new drinks just in case glass went in them. They also moved us to the booth directly next to us so they could thoroughly clean the booth. Their food is always great, especially the pizzas but the service after this accident was outstanding. We felt so cared for and loved by the staff after this. 🥰”

“We had Lupitas cater our wedding in September. If you are considering Lupitas for your wedding we 100% recommended! She is accommodating and overall AMAZING. People raved about how much they loved the dinner at our wedding, it was said that it’s was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We choose chips and dips for cocktail hour with tacos and street corn for dinner. We loved that she was able to serve our guests out of the food truck. It was an amazing experience. “We love coming to the Moon, it’s always a stop for us. Usually most of the bartenders are friendly and timely. However, Nita (I believe her name is) is NOT friendly and very slow. We were there today, I very politely asked for my drinks and not once did she smile or even look to be happy or pleased with being at work. My husband went up the next time to get a new drink and asked her to not put anymore ice in his cup and she didn’t care what he said, she still loaded the cup full of ice. Again, had the look on her face like she didn’t care how nice someone was to her, she wasn’t gonna be nice back. Additionally, when I went up for drinks, she looked at me, looked back at the computer, and made me and someone else wait without saying “I’ll be right with you” or anything of the sorts for about 2-3 minutes.”

Meanwhile, the server that I asked about it approached our server to get the food. She seemed really upset that her conversation with her friend was disrupted.”

“I have been going to the Red Rooster Tavern for more than five decades. It is a warm, casual, wonderfully friendly atmosphere, with attentive and cheerful staff! The food is outstanding, especially their homemade pizzas, the Jack Daniels, burger, and the famous rooster balls! They have trivia on Monday nights between 7 PM and 9 PM. They also have live music on Saturday nights as well. It is the only bar and restaurant within an 8 to 10 mile radius. Many thanks to the wonderful staff that makes this truly an awesome experience! We have found that each tim hortons is different in quality of food and coffee but this one did NOT disappoint. Excellent taste. Definitely recommend”

“We used to love Brooklyn Bagels other than the occasional we don't have any bagels (Odd since that's literally in the name) but within the last 6 months they have gone downhill. We have visited 2 of the locations and had the same results. Long waits, Chai used to be amazing, is now watery. No one seems to be managing the location we've been too, just a bunch of teens trying to figure it out. Currently at the Apple location and have waited 20 minutes for 2 bagels with minimal other customers. We try to support local but will need to move on from this local business. Too many chances given.”

“Our first visit to this restaurant. We were looking for a lunch spot and it was across from the bike shop we were at. They have a very eclectic menu and while my wife is happy trying new things I'm a picky eater. I ordered a special without changing anything, a first for me, and was very happy with the food. They were moderately busy but service was quick and the food was out very quick. We will be back.”

“Man the chicken sandwiches or strips are just so good every time. I either get the chicken sandwich or the strips with the sweet chili sauce and it's one of my all time favorites. Always worth it.”

“Wonderful I just love fried chicken . I have delivered Lee's to grandma's reunion get together. A trip of over 12 miles one way. The chicken in tubs smelled so good . Grandma had one less leg .”

“Once in a while, we will treat ourselves to some Arby's. Food is always hot and fresh. The staff is always friendly. I've only had a couple of times where something was missing, and they made it right immediately.”

“Stopped by for take out, on August 16, ,25. Some Staff had walked off the job earlier in the day. Brand new people working, and the place was chaotic! Wait time was very long. Customers yelling at employees ! Our hearts broke for them all ! Meal was delicious, and kudos to those employees that toughed it out !!!! Sorry for your awful day. 😢”

“Stopped in 10 mins before closing to get a meal for a hungry bunch of kids before heading to our hotel after a day at the beach. Really appreciated how courteous the staff was, food was fresh even though they were closing down, and manager checked in to make sure we had everything we need.
We always love the food at Culvers, but the service here was particularly outstanding.”
