Listen… corporate, if you’re reading this: if I walk in next time and find out Sam did NOT get a raise, I will be forced to dramatically flip a table (respectfully, of course).

This woman could sell a sandwich to someone who just finished Thanksgiving dinner. Absolute pro. The place was spotless—like “mom’s coming over in 10 minutes” clean - she was already wiping things down when I walked in. She matched my energy instantly: calm, cool, collected… meanwhile I’m two minutes away from eating the napkins out of hunger.

We had a quick, wholesome life chat while she crafted (yes, crafted) the most elite 6” sandwich I’ve ever consumed. I’m talking Michelin-star energy in sub form. I went in broke and starving, and if I had an extra $20 on me, I would’ve thrown it at her like she just performed a magic trick.

Sam, thank you for your service. Promote her. Protect her. Possibly build a statue.“

“Love your sandwiches and I get them at least once a week! But so disappointed today :(. Drive to my normal location on hall and Hayes and found out they were closed for remodeling. So drove to Macomb location. I normally pay close attention while subs are made to correct issues but today I was getting pushed into paying before my subs were made. Sadly I got home and it was wrong :(. Ordered three subs total. 2 of three were not what was requested. ie wrong bread, missing mikes way dressing etc. one of the kids subs was completely smashed. it was obvious new employees were working and I’m not totally blaming them. Moving forward I will make sure I watch my sandwiches being made and wont get rushed to the register. I paid a lot for these sandwiches and expect to get what I ordered.“

The food could have been subpar and I still would have walked out of there ok with it, just because someone treated us as fellow humans. It really does make a difference. “Tubby’s is hands down one of our favorite places to go! First of all, the staff is so sweet, welcoming, and always makes us feel right at home. You can tell they truly care about their customers and creating a friendly atmosphere. The food is always great, and my son absolutely loves going there every time. It’s become one of our favorite spots because of the kindness, great service, and warm environment. Highly recommend Tubby’s!“

“My favorite sub is the Italian and Jersey Mike's is the BEST I've ever eaten. The meat is really high quality and the ham is especially very flavorful. The first time I ever got one, I was astonished at the amount of meat they put on them...I couldn't hardly bite into it, lol. I especially like that they cook their own roast beef right there and slice it as needed, as well as bake their own sub rolls...you can't get fresher than that!!!“

“Walked in and there wasn't any patrons in the lobby 😁. The guy taking my order was ok but he wasn't very clean. He was sweeping the floor and when I ordered her didn't wash his hands. He touched my bread before putting on gloves 😶. I wanted to say something but couldn't 🤐. Why wouldn't he was his hands? This is the way they are otherwise he would have washed his hands. Just know I will not be returning and shame on the manager for letting this happen.“

“The server did exactly as I asked, I'm very funny about certain things being on my sandwich! I noticed an onion on it and he made a whole new one for me! I have an allergy to onions! Will definitely come here again!

“I order online today for the same sub that I haven’t gotten my whole entire life. And it may have been the BEST sub I have ever gotten in my entire life. 10/10 sub and I was greeted with smiling faces. I got the same sub the other day from the capac subway and it didnt even come close to the armada subway sub. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.“

“I have been doing carryouts at this Subway location since I started my work shift at Kroger a couple doors down (in early May of 2023). This location is pretty great, the food tastes delicious and fresh.... especially in the early afternoon. If I am working early afternoons at Kroger, I occasionally stop at this Subway location 10 mins before my work shift and pick up my carryout order. I usually will eat my sandwich on my break.

Today I ordered a BMT, and it was completely fresh and delicious. The staff here is amazing. I will visit this location again 😊“

“The employee named Alexis really went above and beyond to serve me and make sure I understood what I was ordering and answered every question I had. She was so friendly and smiled the entire time; it was refreshing. Ill be honest as I was hesitant due to my last encounter with a man named Allen. Very condescending when I asked any type of questions. I haven't been back since, but I'm glad i gave it another shot! My only issue was all of the fly's.....“

“Asked for an illegal amount of pickles. Cashier asked if I was a cop. I denied the allegations. After a conference with her employees, 3 reference checks and a minimally invasive check for wires i was granted the privilege of being served a Cuban with more pickles than I could ever dream of. “After walking out of the Gratiot Subway because I was afraid I would get the plague, I went to this one. I was so happy with the clean conditions and the quick service of the lovely young woman that was working (alone) here tonight. The place was very clean and the ingredients all looked fresh. The young woman was very nice and polite, She more then deserved her tip (and I never tip fast food).“

“I stopped into Subway on lunch break just trying to grab something quick and Sarah genuinely made my entire day! She was SO personable and easy to talk to, we ended up talking about everything and nothing while she made my sub and it felt like chatting with someone I’d known forever. And the sandwich? Literally perfect. I walked in tired and grumpy and left in a significantly better mood because of one random wholesome Subway interaction lol.
