“Sugar Island Baking Company.. WOW!! My cousin and I hosted a family reunion in Grosse Ile, and we were looking for catering that was nearby, and I happened upon this in my searches. (I live in NYC so my standards are pretty high). Catering options were a nice variety sandwiches, cookies, brownies, cheesecakes shooters, and some savory options as well. Every single thing that we ate was better than the next. All the members of our family couldn’t stop raving about the food and desserts. “The absolute best little bakery and cafe. Everything and I mean everything is delicious. It’s all home made from scratch and so so so good. It’s one of those places you can take anybody to and they’ll find something yummy to eat. It feels so good to be able to go out with my little daughter and be able to feed her good food she actually is excited to eat. A very special place!

Kid-friendliness: They are SO good about your littles. My girl loves everything there, cookies, sandwiches, soups, quiche. The staff is super kid-friendly. We go so often, my 2 year old girl loves them all!“

“Stopped at the BIGGBY Coffee in Flat Rock this morning as my usual BIGGBY stop was still not open after 6:10 am. Well, I’ll be frequenting the Flat Rock location from now on! The restaurant is consistently clean, well-lit, and provides a very welcoming environment.I ordered the You Pick 2 with the broccoli cheddar soup and a fresh sandwich—everything tasted incredibly fresh. The coffee pots were completely full and the staff kept the condiment station neat and fully stocked. It is the perfect, reliable spot in town for a quick lunch or a relaxed coffee break.
