“This place is the best! I come here on weekends and they have the highest selection of ranches in the area! I will sit at the bar here for hours on end, throwing back their famous "Ranch Shots". When my thorat starts to burn from the ranch, they do have glasses of peptobesmol they offer for a small fee of $2.99. After Ranching it for hours it is really awesome they offer this!!!!

“Love this place! Their salads are the best. My wife loves the chicken version and I love the gyro version. Their gyro meat and tatziki are among the best I have had. The coneys are iconic and perfect. Finish off with some rice pudding if you have room. Sharing is always a good idea! We went for breakfast the next day and had the Dino special omelet. Fantastic!“

They use a lot of cheese compared to some other restaurants. The crust was good. The marinara for the breadsticks was terrible but the sticks were very good. “I was a little skeptical about this place as it's a fairly small building that you can miss from the road. I gave it a shot and ordered a pepperoni pizza with a side of fries. The fries were baked in the oven instead of fried, so they were a bit burnt and not well seasoned. The pizza, however, was delicious. Everything had good flavor, the crust, sauce a d pepperoni. I know some places charge for ranch, so it didn't surprise me, but I don't like the extra charges for condiments. Overall, the pizza was delicious, but definitely avoid the fries.“

“Unfortunately, I just received the worst customer service at a restaurant. At Six Star In Woodhaven. We got two burgers from carry out, mine was like rubber and my fiancé had a hair in her burger. They made us drive all the way back to prove it. Then they decided she had eaten "too much" of it for a refund. Made us wait 20 minutes for that bs response and handed us a new batch of fries to make up for it. Best part was the owner was too much of a whimp to communicate that awful response to us directly. He made a waitress say it to us after waiting all that time.“

People who came after us were served. This second visit we had a sandwich and an omelette. There was no reason to wait 25 minutes for the food. We were really considering leaving. Then we were going to take some food home but since our waitress didn’t come by, we decided to just pay and leave. We’ve been going to Pipers for many many years, but after the service we received the last two visits, it will be awhile before we come back. This is sad because the food is really good. “Monica herself fulfilled an (almost) lifetime dream! Working in polish-dominated Hamtramk, MI, I fell in love with paczki. Moving to Belleville MI, working in Toledo, I needed to find REAL paczki - that pseudo-paczki-junk at Kroger/Meijer is a jelly bismark. Monica makes real paczki. I've gone there from Traverse City since retiring in 2017- on trips to two Monroe fundraisers falling close to Fat Tuesday. The banquets fell 10 days away on either side of Fat Tuesday this year. I called the store, hoping for a pre-or-post Paczki Day special order. THE MONICA, herself, called to get my order. I took a chance to ask if she could do a dozen poppyseed paczki. My Auntie Bessie used to make poppyseed 'shishka', a bohemian version of polish paczki, in the 1950s. I've not had one in 65+ years, after moving from Chicago . Every year, I've wondered if a paczki-maker would be so kind as to fill some with poppyseed. MONICA MADE ME POPPYSEED PACZKI - out of this world!!! THANK YOU MONICA!!“
