“Sandy’s has been around a long time. Friends have been going there for years and we finally made it there ourselves. Great friendly service with traditional bar food. While we did not have coney dogs, heard from others that is what they are known for. We will be back to sit at the bar for drinks and a burger.“

The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. “So... I never knew about this place for brunch. Wow, one of the better brunches I've had period.We had the shrimp and grits and the vegan biscuits and gravy. To sum our meal up...as the kids would say...it slapped!! It was so damn good.The shrimp and grits came with two polenta cakes. Then smoothed in a creamy sauce, topped with a pile of shrimp and bacon. You can't go wrong! The shrimp had a Cajun seasoning on them that tasted great with the cream sauce. The grilled toast points was a perfect addition to soak up some of the sauce.I only sampled some of the vegan biscuits and gravy. From what I tasted the gravy was rich and flavorful. The tofu scramble was seasoned well and it had a nice mix of peppers and onions it tasted pretty good.Overall I highly recommend this place for bunch.“

“The food here is better than we could have ever imagined. It has become a food staple in our family with the great deals it makes for an affordable and delicious dinner! We love the hot pretzel appetizers and the large burgers that are very generously portioned. We have been here multiple times and have never had something that we didn’t like! All of their food was kept at a manageable price range -and not to mention that all of there food is portioned to feed at least a few. The beverages were reasonably priced and fantastic tasting. We highly recommend the city grill and bar to you and your family.Dietary restrictions: There are many gluten free and vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: my kids love it here they have great food and my kids are pretty picky they love there food and the variety that is given. There is endless options of all my kids favorites (burger, quesadillas, etc) they are very flexible when it comes to making slight changes my children will request for no onions and it will come out as wanted. “Over 25 crowd (most patrons were 40s +). There is a $15 minimum to use a card so if you're just having 1 drink, bring cash. No cover. Pool tables and bar. I was told they no longer sell food at this Bar & Grill but I didn't confirm if the kitchen closes very early, is temporarily closed or closed indefinitely. There is outdoor space and also a food truck up the alley behind the businesses on Grand River. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating. It's not huge but there was a perfect number of people to enjoy yourself and not be crowded with people breathing COVID unknowingly. Old school music with some hustle tracks thrown in. I would go back.“
