“I eat a lot of pizza. I eat a lot of pizza from everywhere any where. Ive tried every pizza in Detroit, and have had a lot of pizza in the burbs. Living in the city for a decade, for rounds, Supinos was always my default option. They make an excellent pie. Some come close, but lack that quality and attention to detail. I moved out of the city to F-Dale... drove by this spot and gave it shot... Yall, this pizza absolutely slaps. Ive showed every friend in the city this spot including restaurant owners, food critics, and industry people and they all unanimously agree, Roccos is a juggernaut of a pizza. We're lucky to have access to round pizza of this calibre. Im going to come clean and go as far as saying, Roccos is the best round in both Detroit and the burbs. Im really not exaggerating. You guys have to try this out. Get a Large round pepperoni or large cheese, youll be pleasantly surprised to have found your new favorite pizza.“

“We came at 11pm on a busy Saturday night and we were seated almost immediately. It was a little loud but to be expected on late night weekend. For drinks I ordered the Friend of A Friend, 10/10 for sure. We ordered the garlic knots and got the grandma, pesto, and meatzza pizzas. The Pesto was definitely the star of the evening. Our server Paige was awesome and made us feel right at home. Would gladly come again.“

“I just grabbed lunch here (to go) and it was amazing. I had the house coconut avocado smoothie while I waited for my food - so good. I got a spinach, mozzarella and Italian sausage cascione (grilled and stuffed flatbread…the dough is also homemade) that was delicious. I also got the grilled cheese and ham (don’t judge me! 😂) the cheese was a Gruyère with black truffles and the ham was from Dearborn. Also tasty. I would definitely go again.“

“Ordered pizza for pickup while staying across the street at Holiday Inn Express. Although the toppings were plentiful and delicious, the crust was undercooked & a little doughy! Plus, it was on a sheet of parchment/wax paper that was completely stuck to the crust & impossible to peel off! Unfortunately, these 2 details turned what should have been an enjoyable night into a messy and frustrating experience!“

“The food is insanely good. We came in today idk if the AC was broken but holyyyy air ball I wanted to get out asap lol I understand it’s hot outside maybe AC was broken idk. Wondering if the ice machine was broken too? I got served pop with no ice which I thought was strange. I have never been here before so idk what the norm is. I will come back for the food but maybe just carry out next time if they truly keep it at 85 in there lol overall best Italian food around hands down. “My parents started bringing me here in the late 70s as a little kid. I haven't been in over a year and met a friend for dinner tonight. Over the years I have fallen out of love with pizza in general. Except for Mama Mia's Redford. It was so delicious I couldn't stop eating. I certainly won't be waiting another year to come back. The last time I came here was December 2022 to surprise my mom. The Christmas decorations are absolutely beautiful and she was just so Delighted with the food and decorations. I hadn't seen her that excited in a long time. She passed away seven months later which is the only reason why I couldn't bring myself to come back until tonight. I will be coming back monthly. Great ambience, delicious food and the staff is always on point! Thank you for keeping this restaurant a treasure and you have earned your 48 years of success!“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

My husband and I went out there for my birthday specifically to get the pasta that was made in the cheese wheel tableside. We made a reservation for Sunday night and were told once we ordered that we couldn't get it in the wheel like on the menu (the menu doesn't listed any restrictions on days/times when it can be done). When we asked why it had something to do with how many managers were on staff at the time, which we understood. Then when my husband asked when would be the best time to come, only Fridays and Saturdays were the options. My main take out of this is make sure if you're driving out for that to call ahead and make sure it's available on the night you're booking.

And secondly... To Andiamo... Please mark on your menu or put some kind of information on when that is realistically available. We drove over an hour and a half and made a trip around going to Detroit for this dinner and I'm sure other people do the same if not drive WAY longer for that experience.“

“The pizza is the best! The round pizza is more of a New York style that has a crust that has a nice chew and those yummy cheesy bubbles that occur from baking. Service is always a plus. A hardworking and friendly staff. The atmosphere is that of your quaint neighborhood sports bar that's always been around. It's cramped but not uncomfortable. Cozy if anything.“
