“I'm not from MI, but I'm staying for a week and was looking for vegan places to eat. I stumbled upon Veg-N and gave it a try. There is no dine-in so do keep that in mind. I just placed our order on their website, and within 15m it was ready! Pulled up to the drive-thru and was met with lovely customer service. We were offered on the house cookies and oh my they were amazing. Got home and unpacked the food to find little peppermints and handwipes in the bag!! I finished my Reuben in 5 minutes it was so good, the patty was soft and juicy and the kraut was perfect. The chili fries were great too - maybe a little sweet for me, but my friend said they were just right for her. Only thing I could ask for would be glaze on the cinnamon roll but I didn't expect any. Just wishful thinking. Overall, great place. The people seem lovely, the food came out fast, and it tasted amazing. I'm only here for a few more days but I will definitely be back, it was just that good. If you like burgers, fries, cookies, or cinnamon rolls you need to check this place out - vegan or not you will love it.“

“This is my first review while waiting for breakfast to be made. Let me start by saying, the greeting was so warm and inviting. The restaurant smelled like grandmas kitchen before you even walked through the door. My fiance and I have tried to come before on our days off on the weekend and they have always been super busy and packed. Weekends understandably are busier. So this time we came on my day off during the week. The coffee is Amazing as is the fresh pressed orange juice. I can't wait to eat breakfast this morning. Our waitress Sonoma is very kind, attentive and helpful.

“It's true, the menu has been greatly reduced. There are still legit options and several daily specials. Sadly, my favorites that include 🥲 the Brussel sprouts, the tofu salmon, 😕 mac'n cheese and the chicken strips are all gonesville. Service was still great and food was excellent as usual.“

“We had M I Vegan cater our wedding and our guests RAVED. As a vegan couple, it was important to us to have vegan entrees and we went with two options: 1. Burger and Garlic Parm Fries and 2. Tacos and BBQ Cauli Wings. Everyone (especially non-vegans) said the food was AMAZING and the M I Vegan team was very sweet. Thank you for being part of such a magical day!“

“Went there this evening to get some takeout--a salad and two entrees. The person who waited on us was very helpful, guiding us through the online ordering process. And the food was sensational! A great salad, and my dinner a poke bowl with raw tuna, was so delicious I had to force myself to stop eating it even though I was full. My wife's dinner was also really tasty, and now we both have leftover that we're looking forward to. I can't believe we'd never been there before--the place is less than five minutes from our house. But we will be back soon, that's for sure!“

I hope they're handmade, because if so, they're amazing. And the pad see ew was so good! I have a high spice tolerance, so I'd go low-medium to medium heat if you try it, but the flavor was great. I had to stop because I was stuffed.“

“I’ve been a resident in the nursing home on the corner and my window faces Groovy Donuts. Lo and behold I had a visitor this morning who stopped and got us a half dozen. All of the donuts were so fresh and moist. Hopefully I will be able to come back when I leave here. Great job!!!!!“

“Our high school golf team was in town for a tournament and I ordered pizza from Blaze. The door dash driver went to the wrong address/only picked up half our order. I called and talked to Anthony at Blaze. He was super friendly and professional. He remade our order free of charge and gave us some cookies for the inconvenience. It was not his fault whatsoever. I was very impressed with his customer service. He didn't owe us anything. It is rare to get solid customer service anywhere. I would order from them again.“

“Absolutely adored this place! We tried to do a walk in a few months back but got the vibe it was best reserved. We came back for our anniversary and am so pleased we did!!! They had our table set with a tea light candle and a small card for the occasion. Our server was so kind, checked in just enough but not too much- and even offered a free dessert. The FOOD! “I haven’t been here in years. My girlfriend was craving some bbq and we decided to venture 18 minutes across town to head here. Mlk was closed so we had to drive through genesse neighborhood, but was it worth it. I don’t like to take pictures of peoples food cause it doesn’t usually do it justice when you find good food. Kayla and our kid shared a pound of brisket and baked Mac and cheese and macaroni salad. Hands down the best brisket that I’ve had in the area and the macaroni salad was insane. My kid said it was the best he’s ever eaten. As for me I opted for a chicken banh mi, everything was fresh and just what I wanted on top of the chicken being excellent on an excellent roll. We sat there with linh and talked about food as I also am in the industry about how her store used to be a phone store and me doing breakfast in the food truck. I highly recommend this place, she works by herself and cares so much about the food. Just like I do. It’s great to find another person and place like this“

“This is a pretty cool bar. We've been there a few times. The atmosphere is great. They're usually so busy that the service is hit or miss. The food is tasty bar food. My only gripe is that it's not gluten allergen friendly. Their best food are burgers and all the burgers come with fries that are have bread coating. There's really no substitute. If you're looking for a cool bar, go here. If you have gluten issues, skip it. There's better options elsewhere in EL.“

Michigan State has 50000+ on-campus students, multiply that by family and friends, and if some of you visitors seek authentic Indian food try Swagath. \nIf You E. Lansing Swagath owner/operator folks are checking your reviews, we really liked everything , but we suggest you find an interior advisor (e.g. some where around MSU, and change your lighting). Make yuor dining area warmer. It didn't bother us; we just notice that kind of thing. Thanks for the great meal.“

“I've been going to the Avenue since before it was the Avenue. The owner was always so supportive of the local music scene and I admired that. The staff is always cute and sweet. I have never been disappointed in service there. The atmosphere is warm and inviting for everyone. At the Avenue I don't have to worry about me or my friends getting picked on because of our gender/sexual orientation or where we are from because the staff is very protective of their patrons and do not tolerate violence or bullying. I'm super grateful to have his gem in our town. I especially love that they have live music, all-ages shows every Sunday, AND that they serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages for the nights where I can't or don't feel like drinking alcohol. Chilling outside is fun too!!“
