“My guy and I came here for our 6th anniversary dinner. It was recommended to us so we gave it a try. OMG were we impressed!!! The food was delicious and our service was fantastic. Everything we ate we couldn’t stop talking about it. From the shrimp crab cake appetizer to the soups to our entrees. He got the New York strip I got the Alaskan king salmon. There was not much left of the plates afterwards. The atmosphere was really awesome. We were so well taken care of. Our server (Sara or Samantha? I really didn’t feel like cooking today, so after work, my daughter and I decided to stop by Westland Fish and Chicken. Let me just say—I usually drive all the way to Detroit for my fish and chicken because I haven’t found a spot near my job that actually tastes good… until now.

Baby, let me tell you—from the moment I tasted those catfish nuggets, I was in LOVE! I couldn’t even take a picture because I started eating right away. The okra? Perfectly cooked and so flavorful. I ordered the 12-piece leg & thigh (crispy), and it was just right—not greasy or tasting like old oil.

And can we talk about the fresh peppers?! You have to have peppers with your chicken—especially if you’re a spicy girl like me! 🔥

Oh, and the crawfish? Delicious. My son gave it the stamp of approval. He tore up the chicken and saved the crawfish for his little “treat” later.

The food was so good, I literally called them back just to say thank you and let them know how much I enjoyed it. Now that’s how you know it hit the spot!

So with that being said, I’ve officially found my new chicken and fish spot when I’m working out this way. Keep up the great work, y’all—you’re doing it RIGHT! 🙌🍗🐟“

“The chicken was really delicious. There are a lot of stuffed animals at this place, which is a little odd, but they have a lot of modern decoration elements as well. Lovely grotto patio, wine display, and private event space. Again, the chicken was so well prepared, very flavorful, moist, and a considerable portion.“

“Ordered a OG, a large round pepperoni pizza with butter crust. There was a lot of pepperonis, so if you aren’t a huge pepperoni person, maybe ask for less pepperoni. I probably would order it again, but with butter cheese crust the next time.

The garlic mozzarella bread sticks were pretty good, although a little dry. Wish they were a little more cheesy. Most definitely would put Primos as a top 10.“

“What a beautiful view while eating dinner!! Really great delicious food. Smart, kind, and caring servers. We went to just enjoy dinner and look out over the lake. Usually is billed as watching women in bikinis-type bars. It's just normal beachwear. The whole half of the bar-facing lake was pretty well empty. We loved the food and drinks. Right now there are so many ducks and geese to watch in the lake it's fun.“

“Came at dinner, got breakfast. Just finished at the gym and was needing some dinner. My friend and I stopped in on a Monday around 7p and were greeted at the door and were told to seat ourselves. Water arrived promptly and our order was taken within a few minutes. We both ordered Greek skillets and a side coney dog for an appetizer, because a three egg skillet just ain’t enough. Food was fantastic, a good sized portion and came fast! Our server was very attentive and brought extra waters as she could tell we were thirty having just came from the gym.
The atmosphere is what it is. Place needs some love on the interior, maybe some paint, some new tables. Booths are a little worn and tables show visible signs of years of patronage. Go to Anna’s house if you want decor and overpriced food is my take.
Overall this place hits right and I don’t care what the tables look or feel like as long as the service and food are consistently as good as it was tonight.“

“China House Inn has become our go to Chinese takeout spot. We love TenYen but it's a little bit further of a drive and the good is close to equal. Delicious egg rolls, good shrimp fried rice, and most dishes have been tasty. The almond chicken gravy is bland and the Mongolian beef wasn't the best but we love the sweet and sour chicken, general chicken, and Szechuan chicken. Very nice workers too.“
