“My wife and I were traveling through Kalkaska with our 8 pound Chiweenie. We found Moose and Stella’s on Bring Fido and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent as well as the service. On top of that, they were very accommodating to our puppy. I highly recommend!”

Can’t help but return every time while “up north.” They’re that great and that consistent. GO HERE if in need of indulgent libations. I would be shocked if you were disappointed.

“Must do if you've come to the Traverse City area and want to taste Michigan wine. These folks know what they're doing and are making great wine. We enjoyed a relaxed tasting in the garden and liked all the wines (more than we expected!). The service was easygoing (in a good way) and informative. We also tried a cider that was complex and earthy. Don't sleep on those. While the reds were on the pricey side, the Rieslings are very reasonable and absolutely worth taking a bottle home. Or more than a bottle if you aren't flying!”

“Awesome brews and crew. Osario's and Flannigan's Goat serve up some very tasty food. Great indoor/ outdoor venue. Summertime music is great too. The customers are friendly and fun. I highly recommend both of Short's facilities. So thankful that we have this in Elk Rapids.”

“Ruthann’s did the cake and cupcakes for my wedding this past weekend and they were absolutely phenomenal! The cake is so moist and the buttercream is so airy. It’s not overly sweet either which I really liked. The cake was designed beautifully and everyone really loved the cupcakes. We even got coffee from them the day after, I am not a big coffee fan (especially hot) but it was really good too!”

“We've sampled donut shops herein Northern Michigan, including the famous "Potters" (they're good). But, we found the Flour Pot almost by accident. The donuts at the Flour Pot are the best we've had!!!”

“We were having a horrible day on our 31st anniversary and our waitress Abby turned it all around. Excellent service, and great food. My husband had the house salad followed by the special, ribeye with leek butter-delicious, I had the onion soup with tenderloins with demi glacé. The crème brûlée finished an amazing meal. Good ambiance and fast service”

“I have been ordering olive burgers for years now. Every time I go to Kalkasa. Last Friday myself and three friends all had burgers. The meat pattie was not the usual. It looked like something from Gordon’s or Sam’s. Tasteless. I can get a better tasting burger at a chain restaurant. For the price I expect a burger like the ones (3) I had every time before. Next time I’ll ask if they’re still using the same crappy meat I had last time I was in. If so, then I guess I’ll order some appetizers for dinner. Hard to screw that up! 🫰🏻”

“There are several pizza options around and after tonight Papa K’s will be at the top of my list. Excellent “pizza pocket” and the normal pizza is pretty great as well. We also got some chicken strips, which were pretty decent.”

I recommend their Bento Box with the burger + fried rice option, it is delectable. 😏🍴 (pictured below) + Their new delivery service is great! Super nice for when you don't want to get out, or for when you need lunch/dinner at work like me. 😄”
