“Wow!! Nothing but wonderful things to say about Steve & Julie! They are absolutely fabulous to work with and beyond patient with us as we peppered them with multiple questions, as this was both mine and my husband's family's first wedding! Julie was with us every step of the way! Smokin' Steve's BBQ & Fried Pies catered our wedding and not only were we thoroughly impressed with their food, but our 200+ guests were as well! The layout of their appetizers were adorable and their dinner food lines flowed so well, allowing all of our guests to be fed in <30 minutes! They also made sure to offer accommodations to any and all guests of ours who had dietary restrictions due to food allergies. Not only are they perfect for catering weddings, but they are perfect for other events as well! We would choose their services again in a heartbeat!! 10/10 recommend! “Haven't been in a while since I moved out the neighborhood. But food was always great, service above reproach, prices were reasonable and great menu selections. Owners and staff were always friendly and appreciative. I could go for a full slab rib dinner or smothered pork chop dinner. With collard greens, Mac n cheese, cornbread and a large kool-aid mixed.“

“Zukin's Rib Shack holds a special place in my heart. While I do genuinely think the food is some of the best around, . Growing up, my family got Zukin's all the time. My dad and I are pizza afficionados and would get pies from this place all the time. I remember having for my birthday, When my dad got sick, all he ever wanted to eat was a pepperoni and mushroom pizza from this place. Even as he lost his appetite and his hair fell out, even when he didn't feel like eating anything else, he'd eat his pizza and those brownies.

Unrelated, my grandma was a fan of the ribs and I agree with her opinion.

Next month, I'm taking a train across the country to start a new life in the New Mexican desert. Before I leave downriver, I have to grab me a pizza and maybe some ribs. And tbh with you, if you're thinking about grabbing food from here, you should. It's delicious, the prices are fair, and it's down to earth.“

“We have probably ordered from Sully's 10 times, in our year and a half on Grosse Ile. We always get the ribs, which are tender and very good. The sides are phenomenal... Cole Slaw crisp, fresh, tasty, and crunchy. The Mac & Cheese is very good, cheesy and buttery with just enough bread crumb texture. The corn is fresh, but seasonal, top notch when available... but best are the beans... warm, soft, generous bits of barbecue within, to die for delicious, world class! Sully's limited menu is more than made up for in that everything they serve, they know and make homestyle, with love. 5 stars!“

We shared a platter, and everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. “We have driven from Saginaw 2 hours away for the last five years to eat these authentic tacos and other Mexican delicacies. They are authentic and amazing. Totally delicious and a must try if you want real Mexican food.“

“Great food! Been here many times, and always have a good experience. However, they charged gratuity on a party of 4, so be careful. I tipped on top of their 16% added into my bill. Waitress of course didn’t mention the added cost and I didn’t notice until after the fact. Seemed odd for such a small party, but feel they should warn us while paying“

“A group of about 10 of us stopped in on a Monday for happy hour - there was a nice crowd, music was playing, sparsely decorated. They have a great patio right on Woodward which is why we came, but it ended up raining. Although only one bartender was working, cocktails came out fast and tasted fresh and good. They have an interesting n/a mocktail made with homemade cordial and soda - I didn't try it this time, but it's good to know they have an option other than soda and lime. The aperol spritz looked good as did the spicy margarita. A good place to catch a quick drink.

They have an interesting food menu - sushi during the day and late night, and bbq for dinner. Maybe a little odd, but I remember when this place was Oslo and had the best sushi, so maybe it makes sense? I'll have to come back to try the food. Everyone working has also been really friendly, so I'd come back. An excellent location if you work downtown.“

Worst day i had, ordered a small cheese with pepperoni pizza with cajun crust (very good, gently crisp crusts and just enough cajun so 10/10) and a 2L of soda through Uber Eats, Didnt get the soda i wanted , they were out & i guess the uber guy disregarded my note on what to replace it with. I called, even though slightly tense (sorry) the guy was super kind over phone, apparently this Happys Pizza is closer than i thought so i walked to get it replaced and still was super kind, even offered a pie slice. On the verge of tears on xmas eve with the worst day but the service was so kind, and the pizza was good and good service needs to be acknowledged and appreciated so 10/10.“

“Our first time to the Longhorn Steakhouse and it was an incredible dining experience. We completed the online waitlist before we arrived (15-20 minute) but luckily we got seated right away. Big shout out to our amazing server, Kayli L, as she was incredible. Highly recommend the Wild West Shrimp Appetizer, loaded with delicious spicy shrimp 10/10, then salad and we both ordered Flo’s filet which was so tender and flavourful, melt in your mouth goodness! The spot is called "Dem Noles Bois"...It's been awhile since I had a good gumbo. I've got to tell you, to my surprise, this was the best gumbo that I’ve had in years definitely five stars.
