“Since I moved to Detroit in 2021, coming from a restaurant University (Chicago), everywhere referred Selden. From that day, I never looked back, it's been a treat every time I've had the opportunity to dine there. I enjoy it when they mix up the menu, very consistent with great flavors. It has been my favorite restaurant to date, none have came close, Keep going Selden. Great place!“

“Exceptional service and the best value for money of any Indian cuisine in metro Detroit, truly a hidden jem with the most friendly staff. There’s not a single item on the menu that’s not worth a try and for the price it’s a great place to get out of your comfort zone and try a new dish. The ingredients have always been fresh for all the visits we’ve had to the restaurant (10+ times), the spices are actually not store bought and are hand ground in the restaurant which is really amazing. The owner is always onsite and that really makes a difference to ensure the highest quality food and service. I highly recommend a visit as you will not regret it!!“

“I love when I can find a pizza place with gluten free crust that doesn't make me sick. The staff was accommodating to my allergy, however at times our party felt neglected by our server, and it was hard to locate her, or grab her attention when our table needed refills. The wait for our food to come out was longer than anticipated as well.“

“What can I day about Cork & Gable? We love the place. The staff is always friendly and make you feel like VIPs. The drinks are some of, if not thee, best drinks in town! They consistently have rotating bourbons that are difficult to find and reasonable prices as well. The food is great, too! Fish and Chips are a staple here, but the specials are always amazing. If Arctic Char is on the menu...get it! We have been going here for years and will continue to come back for the many reasons above. A must try, in my book.“

“So we walked in to this place after a Lion's preseason game and I thought it was just going to be another super busy bar where we had to wait an hour to get service and the food would be disappointing. Man.....I was so wrong!! We found a table even though the place was packed, the server came over right away and was extremely nice. The food was exceptional and worth the money. Very loud inside but gives you that excitement atmosphere and everyone is having a great time. Very clean inside and upscale food. Get the steak medallions..... you're welcome!! Lots of draft beer and good mixed drink options. We will definitely be going back.“

“Every time I come to Detroit, I try a new coffee shop. This is a great place to get some work done or just hang out (both indoors and out). The matcha I had was great, just a hint of sweetness. Though I didn't get to try the food, I expect it to be good with just the quality of produce that was brought in this morning.“

“Detroit City Distillery is an awesome local distillery who makes a wide variety of their own liquors and craft cocktails. They do some awesome seasonal and special occasion liquors like packzi vodka for fat Tuesday that is delicious. Their marketing art is really creative and unique too!“

“An institution. Incredible professional service starts with a greeting at the door and the entire way through the dining experience. Every interaction was friendly, perfectly timed, and unpretentious. The dining room has a wonderful warm historic feel, with live music as well. “I loved this place! Eveyone should come here! My family and I ate cheese burgers, a chicken shawarma, and a shish combo and taboula. The shish combo was amazing, the beef was very tender and had a lot of flavor, the chicken was also really good. The burger has good flavor and the chicken sandwich. I would recommend this place to everyone. The workers were all very nice and has great service.“

“Great beer selection, a relaxed vibe, and plenty of board games to enjoy. I also appreciated that they had the football games on, adding to the cozy atmosphere. If you like a sweeter beer, I’d definitely recommend the Flannel Weather (not the one pictured). Perfect spot for a laid-back evening.“
