“I first stopped here because I was on my way to Detroit and desperately needed to use a rest room! The interior blew me away how beautifully decorated it was. It’s a small space but the service was extremely friendly! I’d say it’s upscale Thai. Their Thai cold coffee is delicious! 🤤 it’s honestly one of the best ambiances I’ve had in a restaraunt even though it’s small. “I love this place. The other day a woman came in and Without trying her food tried to say it was disgusting. Made a Big huge scene which caused some customers to leave. I stayed to make sure nothing happened.And now is constantly harassing them and won't leave them alone. The owner and the staff was professional and tried to solve the problem which the lady was not having. Then called her husband and had him come up later that day to harass the owner, And her employees. Now i'm on facebook and watching this lady, Her husband, And her friend harass this business owner. yes It is very important to say that her husband kept repeating he owns his own business. so I am guessing they are doing this because he needs more business? trying to put her out of business so he can get her customers? I was there and this owner should not have to deal with the harassment from them. sorry you have to. keep doing you and all your customers that know you will keep coming back. I know I will.“

“We recently ordered takeout from Penn’s Thai Cafe under its new ownership, and WOW, what a treat!

We’ve been fans of the chef owner’s cooking for a long time, so when they opened their own restaurant, we couldn’t wait to try it. You can truly taste the passion and authenticity in every dish.

The pad prick nor mai made with fresh bamboo, was a standout and something rarely found at this level outside of Thailand. We also had the kra pow moo grob (crispy pork basil stir fry) which was perfectly balanced - crispy, savory, and packed with flavor. Their pad Thai was excellent as well, with a rich depth of flavor and tanginess that sets it apart from the usual.

For appetizers, the minced pork bun with egg and the crab rangoon were a delightful surprise. They were comforting, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. We didn’t get a chance to try their newest dessert, i-Tim Kati (coconut ice cream), but it is definitely on our list for next time!

“The new owners have improved the interior and it is now open on weekends, which is nice. They now encourage you to use an app instead of calling in orders, which charges an extra fee. Also, they removed the one item I've always ordered (since 2012) and liked most - Pad Prik, so I've mostly stopped going here.“

“I have been eating at, and ordering from, the various Bangkok Cuisine locations for over 25 years. It is the best Thai food I have ever had. I actually crave this food when I haven't had it in awhile.

Due to a series of very bad experiences with a different location, I had to find a new one. I was fortunate to find this one. It has different ownership, and it is obvious that the owners and the staff take pride in the business and are dedicated to making their food and service a quality experience.

I have ordered take-out at this location many times now, and I wish I had switched to them long ago. The food is always fresh, tasteful, and the quality is far above the other location.

My favorites are the Pad Kra Tiem Prik Taii and the Hot and Sour Soup.“

“I came in after work with a take out order for two and it was ready within 10 minutes. The pork spring rolls were 🔥! I was warned that their Medium was like other restaurants’ Hot and they meant it! They do have a small dining area, but I think take out and delivery are their primary focus. We just found this restaurant and will be coming back!“

My mom is vegetarian so there was ample choices for her and she really enjoyed her food from Tom yum soup to vegetable tempura, spring rolls and veggie rolls. The presentation was great as well and the servers were very kind. The restrooms were clean. The only thing was that they added the 18% tip to our bill and there was an expectation to add more, which I did not appreciate. I didn’t mind the 18% as the service was good. We ordered for carry out and got our food in minutes.
The food itself was amazing. Flavourful while not being too spicy. According to my boyfriend, the Bangkok Chicken was “the best I’ve ever had”.
