“Kabin Kruser’s in downtown Rochester has a chill, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place to unwind. The nautical décor and cozy layout give it that classic oyster bar feel, even if you’re not here for the oysters.

The food was excellent — flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. We tried a few dishes from the menu and everything was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, even on a busy evening.

“Had the best experience here last weekend! My family had so much fun playing pool here, the drinks were good, the food was good, and best part was our service. Mona was very attentive to all of our needs and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. She had a great attitude and made sure we had a good time. “I went there for a Porsche Club event, very nice atmosphere good waitstaff. We had a buffet dinner. Consisting of salmon,pasta,roast beef,baked chicken breast,potatoes,salad. The food was good they have a variety of homemade craft beers and a full bar. They have a live band on certain nights and they have a comedy night. I highly recommend this business.“

“Hazel’s is one of those no-brainer places you hit with friends or family when you’re looking for something casual. Some dishes are better than others but overall the seafood is fresh and tasty. “Great food options for a smallish bar. There is a chef there during week (Tues-Fri?) who offers handwritten menu of specials. We had the baked meatballs (delicious) and the Cajun shrimp scampi (added more heat). One of our favorite places for smaller group dinners!“

“I came in expecting the usual dive bar scene — sticky floors, cheap beer, neon signs buzzing in the corner. Instead, Rachael and Amy treated me like I had just bought the place. I ordered a regular draft and somehow it felt like they had tapped a keg exclusively in my honor.

Halfway through my second beer, Rachael joked about “opening a tab,” but what really happened is Amy slid me a crisp stack of bills and told me not to worry about it — like the bar itself was sponsoring me. By closing time, when most people were stumbling toward their Ubers, they casually mentioned my private helicopter was waiting out back behind the dumpsters. They then flew me across Italy.

If you want five-star luxury while drinking a $3 domestic, this is the only bar on earth where that’s possible. Dive bar? Maybe. But with Rachael and Amy behind the counter, it feels like Buckingham Palace with better beer.“

“Where do I even start! This is hands down, the premier cigar bar! I’ve gone to a few others and they don’t compare to DCs. Chris and Donny (owner) has done an incredible job. First off, the ventilation. On a packed night, the place isn’t even overly cloudy or smokey, great ventilation. Their humidor also offers a great selection of cigars at affordable prices. Next the food. Everything in the menu is top notch and other very affordable. The steak bites, deviled eggs, burgers, fries, everything, 5 out of 5. Now, the atmosphere, unlike any other cigar bar. It’s classy, looks good, clean, and always has a great mix in music and tv selection. They also have a hell of a drink selection, very impressive. Lastly, the staff. I’ve become a regular over the last six months and have had the pleasure to work with some of the best in the business. Sarah and Rheanna are amazing, they don’t get any better than these two! They’re friendly, treat you like they’ve known you for years, professional and know their business. Most would say they do this for the tips, they don’t. They do it because that’s just who they are, just friendly and sweet. Joe is also one hell of a guy! Everybody on the staff makes time for you. The moment you walk in, they greet you by name. They have an incredible staff, that’s what keeps you coming back. Thank you all for making this place a great spot to sit down and enjoy a night out, whether a date night, a guys night out or even just a solo night to grab a drink and a cigar! “MBTB is a local treasure! The atmosphere is welcoming and perfect for a date night, friends getting together, or even stopping in by yourself! They have something for everyone and the service has always been amazing. I love the commitment to Michigan products from the wine to the snacks all the way to the merchandise. The chef even came out to talk with people who had dietary restrictions and prepared them dishes they could eat using the ingredients he was using for the main menu. “I took my two son’s here today. My youngest has autism and others’ kindly describe him as “a handful.” Accurate. The server comes over and asks for our drinks. She brings them back and my son just throws the cup across the aisle. And then laughs. Autism is super fun like that. Lauren (the server) was super nice about the mess. Another female server cleaned up the milk. They were both very understanding and it helped so much - probably more than they realize! I tipped them both but I hope a manager sees this, because, they are awesome employees!! You’re lucky to have them!“

“We recently visited Griffin Claw Clubhouse in Rochester Hills and had an excellent experience, thanks in large part to our server and bartender, Mae.

From the moment we sat down, Mae made us feel welcome. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and upbeat, guiding us through the menu with helpful suggestions and spot-on recommendations. Her understanding of the beer and food options stood out and really enhanced our evening.

We ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos, which were fantastic, and tried a mix of drinks including the Peach Geist, the Berserker, and the Screamin’ Pumpkin. Mae described them perfectly, and each one lived up to her recommendation.

“This place has some good menu options and the cooks are willing to customize orders. The gulf port sandwich with cajun mayo is fantastic. So are the salads, good healthy, delicious, and filling bang for buck with those.

Chicken wings and Chicken quesadea are also fantastic here. And although on the more expensive side, the jamablaya is the genuine article and is hard to top.

The tables are cleaned regularly and the waittresses are both pretty and attentive.“
