I've been in Mexico, have Mexican friends, and eat in Mexican restaurants at least 4 times a month. You will NOT find better than Aztecas in Macomb County. This place is even better than the establishments in Mexican town Detroit.“

“Absolutely love this place. Excellent food, great service. We frequent both the original Allen Park location and Sterling Heights. We love the asada and Al pastor tacos, the pollo quesadilla and the carne asada fries. Portions are an excellent value for the price.“

“Ordered the chips and guacamole with the steak burrito!

Less than 2minutes of sitting down, they bring my chips + salsa & guacamole! The salsa has quite a bit of a kick in heat, and the guacamole cools down the tastebuds and tastes like it has hints of lime and cilantro.

The main course: the steak burrito! You do have to pay 3$ extra for the steak, but it's so worth it! Everything is nice and tender, I recommend with the pinto beans for the burrito... Everything is well balanced and cooked deliciously!

“Hidden gem—almost impossible to see the name of this little restaurant, so it’s easy to miss! But what a fun surprise when you do find it. Great drinks—I tried the Hibiscus Margarita, my hubby had the classic. Very tasty! The food had great authentic flavor and was very reasonably priced for Birmingham. I had the shrimp taco and didn’t love how thick the soft shell was, but the flavor was delicious and the sauce with the shrimp was yummy. My hubby and daughter loved their dishes. He got a steak special and she got the Biria dish.
The coconut cake and churro cheese cake dessert were fabulous and worth the calories!
Service was great, friendly and helpful!

“Ordered food. Tripe taco was good well seasoned. I wanted the tripe crispy but Google translate said to put in a hard shell lol still really good. Horchata fresh, really good. Ordered a half al pastor half asada tortas. The asada is a lil salty but still delicious. The al pastor however did taste a lil old, slight spoil tang iykyk. 4 star cause it was probably an off day but who knows.“

“From personal experience I don’t recommend working here, I don’t know how Margret has a job as a manager speaking from experience as well she’s so entitled until the owner comes in. Two of the managers I had no problem with they were very nice and understanding, But Margret was a nightmare in disguise I’m not the first to walk out because of her just in the past month we’ve lost 4 people not including me because of the way she treats, speaks, and acts towards people. I’m not one for bashing anybody but I don’t know how they let someone like her work and manage a good restaurant like this. We’ve had a couple of disagreements, but I’ll get to the point because I messed up an order while serving she tried to get me to pay for the food keep in mind this is my first mistake and I did pay for the food out of my tips but after the argument, I was told by two co-workers she took out her laptop and changed my schedule from 6 days to 3, which is now messing with my income. I'm a young man trying to save up for my schooling at the moment, so when I found this out and saw my schedule for next week I called her as anyone would do, she then declined my call and I texted her to call me we need to talk, she immediately texts back I’m busy and I’m questioning your tone? This is over text as well not a phone call. So at this point, I’m like what is her problem I wanna talk it out. So I went on to tell her about what I was told by my co-workers and my schedule which let’s be real 50-year-old women messing with 20 years old income over a disagreement is just absurd and honestly insane. I texted her what I was told and she responded with I think you need to take a step back and think about who you're talking to? So at this point, I’m mad because now it’s just a toxic conversation created by her Margret, I went on to say how she has made the work environment toxic and uncomfortable and that messing with my income is completely childish, and I had already told my other manager that if this continues I’m putting my two weeks in. So In general they knew I was leaving the company it was a toxic and uncomfortable environment not only for me but for everyone, Margret and her husband Luis act like they own the place, her husband is just a cook but that’s beside the point, everyone working there would say the same, one of the managers is about to quit because of the way Margret treats him I won’t say any other names because this is just about her how she made it such a toxic and uncomfortable environment. After I asked her how she would feel if someone was messing with her income, I didn’t get a response for hours to keep in mind they already knew I was gonna quit so she fired me before I could. After about 4 hours I get a text message towards the night saying it would be best if I didn’t come back and work a Rio on main and to be honest I felt relieved knowing I would never work for someone like that ever again. This was just one event I could go into another time when I was super sick, but we’re not because I don’t even really have time for this after I was let go I told her I hope she has a great life but I will be leaving a google review and yelp review about her. She ruined the environment, she messed with my income, she verbally assaulted me multiple times at work, and she verbally assaults another manager who is about to quit because she has made the environment so toxic for anyone she doesn’t agree with or anyone who doesn’t obey the craziest authority. I would understand paying for food if you messed up 7 orders but after my one mess up I couldn’t believe the way she treated me there and other servers and staff. So sadly to everyone looking to work here, I’m sorry but I suggest you look somewhere else until this manager is gone she’s a very toxic and childish human being, if only I could post some of the things she’s said. Thank you for reading and listening to what I went through here. Also, think twice before you let someone treat you like an undervalued human or garbage we all have a voice let it speak.“

We had the taquitos dinner which was presented well in a fried basket shell with lettuce, pico and guacamole and to dip sour cream and queso. The chicken was well seasoned and not dry. We also had the fish Baja tacos and they were also not dry and flavorful with pineapple on the pico was an unexpected added touch that was delicious. The Baja fish dinner came with perfectly cooked seasoned fries. We rode a quite a way to try a new Mexican restaurant and we're not disappointed. We will definitely be going again.“

“First time trying it and let me say I regret not trying it sooner. I was a bit hesitant but Chris was extremely helpful and made so many great recommendations. I had the quesadillas (chicken), chips and queso. The dessert was over the top. When I say I am not typically a big eater I tried some of everything. The best part the servings were ample enough I have left overs for a day or two. In addition to Chris the staff was welcoming and friendly. I will be back. I have tried quite a few of their menu items, all have been really terrific. Love the hot, fresh, daily made, endless basket of chips and salsa. They have mild salsa, hit salsa and e en hotter green salsa. We stayed for several drinks, of Course you cant just have one margarita. Hehehe. ???. How can you not have more than one margarita?? Lol. Right!! Prices are very reasonable and service is always excellent. The Restaurants is larger and can accommodate many. It has a bar side seating as well as a family friendly dining area. This is my go to Mexican place. If I can’t find anyone to go with me when I’m craving Mexican food, I will go here alone. I’ve been there many times alone for dine in as well as picking up a carry out. Try it, you will like it.“
