“Right off of the paint creek trail, this gem has the most amazing burgers I have had the privilege of tasting in quite some time. The logistics of the building is kind of tricky and their parking is not the greatest if you come by car. I would advise that you park down the street and take a short walk for better parking.“

“I always love coming here for the great selection of oysters. The space is cozy and overall the experience is usually pleasant. Today our server was honestly a little rude, which made our experience unexpectedly poor. I totally understand if someone is having a bad day but to be rude during the entire service when my whole table was as nice as possible is different. Definitely disappointed with our visit today.“

“I hosted my daughter’s baby shower there this past Saturday. From start to finish they were very accommodating. The food was delicious and the service was great. A big thank you to “Leonna” the event coordinator that I dealt with throughout. She also served the day of the shower and was very “on top” of everything. Leonna even designed a menu that resembled the baby shower invitation and placed it at every seat to allow our guests to know what lunch courses would be served.
My husband and I have celebrated various birthdays and anniversaries here but this was my first time hosting an event. I highly recommend the Rochester Chop House.“

“Stopped in on a Wednesday around 5:45-6pm. Seated right away, the staff was really friendly. The sushi we ordered was the Christmas tree, rainbow, and I believe the rising sun? The last one I'm unsure on. They were all really good though! I would recommend all of them and I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as good.“

“My husband & I had our anniversary dinner here for the first time. We got the calamari for an appetizer which was the best we ever had! He ordered the ribs, I had the crab stuffed shrimp, and creme brûlée for dessert! The bread, the side salad, the coleslaw… literally everything was absolutely delicious! “My son is so picky, yet he ate the chicken tender and fries, he loved it and finished his plate. The fish was soo good. when the guy knew that we are traveling he packed the Hummus in a bag of ice to keep it cool. Sarah was sooo helpful and nice. I love the atmosphere in this restaurant. “My only complaint was that we had to wait an hour to get our food. We had five young children in our group including a 2 year old and a 4 year old so things got pretty out of control at our table while waiting. I've been to Seasons 52 many times and have never waited anywhere close to this long so hopefully just a one time event. I love this restaurant!“

“Went there yesterday with my husband for our anniversary dinner. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table for dinner. All staff were super friendly and courteous. I had the Perch Piccata which was amazing. It was a very large portion so I had plenty to take home for another meal. My husband enjoyed his Bolognese which was also a very large portion. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back soon.“

“Ordered a carry out for my wife that just had surgery! She also has a gluten and egg allergy, the staff was very helpful in determining the food was free of these allergens. BTW, the chicken fettuccine Alfredo was awesome and the noodles were some of the best we have had!

“Hazel’s is one of those no-brainer places you hit with friends or family when you’re looking for something casual. Some dishes are better than others but overall the seafood is fresh and tasty. The servers have all been very tentative and nice over the years which makes for a positive experience. This is definitely a place I will continue to patron and recommend.“

“I’m from UP State Ny. The last time I came home I have been dying to come here. I had the 6oz. fillet. Its was to die for!!! So, for my birthday this year I wanted to go back! Everyone ordered, I ordered my fillet Med/Rear Well it was more Med/Well and I didn’t like it. The waiter agreed. They took it back and brought me the most perfect Fillet!!!!
