“Right off of the paint creek trail, this gem has the most amazing burgers I have had the privilege of tasting in quite some time. The logistics of the building is kind of tricky and their parking is not the greatest if you come by car. I would advise that you park down the street and take a short walk for better parking.“

“Kabin Kruser’s in downtown Rochester has a chill, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place to unwind. The nautical décor and cozy layout give it that classic oyster bar feel, even if you’re not here for the oysters.

The food was excellent — flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. We tried a few dishes from the menu and everything was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, even on a busy evening.

“Stopped in on a Wednesday around 5:45-6pm. Seated right away, the staff was really friendly. The sushi we ordered was the Christmas tree, rainbow, and I believe the rising sun? The last one I'm unsure on. They were all really good though! I would recommend all of them and I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as good.“

“My husband & I had our anniversary dinner here for the first time. We got the calamari for an appetizer which was the best we ever had! He ordered the ribs, I had the crab stuffed shrimp, and creme brûlée for dessert! The bread, the side salad, the coleslaw… literally everything was absolutely delicious! “Went there yesterday with my husband for our anniversary dinner. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table for dinner. All staff were super friendly and courteous. I had the Perch Piccata which was amazing. It was a very large portion so I had plenty to take home for another meal. My husband enjoyed his Bolognese which was also a very large portion. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back soon.“

I ordered the Vineyard chicken as my entree- delicious and moist chicken breast with a delicious smashed potato and cippolini onions, mushrooms and ca to go along with it, swimming in a velvety sauce. “We had a large group of ladies come in for dinner. It took us about an hour to get seated on a Saturday since they dont take reservations. We had a few bumps in the night but Brandon took great care of us. I believe he was the manager. Our appetizers were great (calamari and crab cake). The bread (or donut as we called it) was delicious!! Our entrees however were less than desirable. Pictured is my crab cake entree with a side of smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. The mac was terrible (unseasoned and the noodles were hard) 😢 I left the full side almost completely untouched on my plate. My friend's broccoli had a hair in it, which they promptly remade. Someone else's steak tasted like cinnamon as she described it and was tough for the cut of steak. The drinks were 10/10 (shout-out to the bartender). I had a lemon drop mojito *chef's kiss* And the creme brulee was delicious as well. Overall, I would return but simply for drinks and apps!“

“Delicious and authentic Polish food, great atmosphere, and kind staff. Many choices of food and drinks. We enjoyed Polish rosół (chicken noodle soup), which was absolutely amazing! Also, pork chops with mashed potatoes and coleslaw were delicious. It all definitely hit the spot. Furthermore, they have Polish beer and other drinks to complete the meal. Best Polish Food around!“

Everyone ordered, I ordered my fillet Med/Rear Well it was more Med/Well and I didn’t like it. The waiter agreed. They took it back and brought me the most perfect Fillet!!!! “Words cannot express how calming it is to go to Take Sushi. We have been customers for 21 years. The owner carried our daughter around when she was a baby so we could eat. Today as I prepare to send the baby off to college soon they were there for a special lunch. Let us in early and we had the most exquisite selection of chō moriawase. This is the best sushi around. Our friends who were from Japan said it was their favorite in metro Detroit. It’s our favorite because we love the family atmosphere that resounds in this crazy world!“

He was prompt and friendly and very kind explaining why the prime rib comes out pink (it is supposed to!! But he explained it well and kindly!!) AND he still took it back to the kitchen when my friend was still uncomfortable with the color and they seared it very nicely without damaging the quality of the cut. My friend was VERY pleased!! Cannot say enough how wonderful the entire experience was!!! Oh yeah, the rest of us had the artichoke hearts and deviled eggs as appetizers, the Pecan Encrusted Trout (AMAZING!!) and the Cilantro Shrimp (fantastic) and the French Dip (quite good!!) every bite was delicious and again, Josh is just the kindest server I’ve had in I don’t know how long!!“
