“We enjoy places that offer a Happy Hour which includes FOOD options. I do not drink alcohol, but I enjoy trying new places and offering a happy hour menu with food allies me to do that. Clam chowder was good, wings were ok, we did ask for extra crispy but we didn't get that ( I think many kitchens are on auto pilot and don't always look at the guest's request, this happens a lot with french fries being undercooked), dynamite shrimp was good but I could have used more seasoning. Brit was our server and was fantastic. I also appreciated that the other staff members were helping each other by clearing plates, bowls, etc. . Great causal place.“

“Came here for a quick dinner with some of my girlfriends after my wedding dress fitting, and it was the perfect spot. The lobster bisque was absolutely delicious, and the menu offered plenty of variety with lots of great options to choose from. We each tried different chef selections, and everyone loved both their food and drinks. I especially appreciated the thoughtful mocktail menu for anyone not drinking but still wanting something special. The service was friendly and very attentive, which made the experience even better. “My husband & I had our anniversary dinner here for the first time. We got the calamari for an appetizer which was the best we ever had! He ordered the ribs, I had the crab stuffed shrimp, and creme brûlée for dessert! The bread, the side salad, the coleslaw… literally everything was absolutely delicious! And on top of the yummy food, our waitress April was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience even better! We definitely found our new favorite restaurant!“

“Went there yesterday with my husband for our anniversary dinner. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table for dinner. All staff were super friendly and courteous. I had the Perch Piccata which was amazing. It was a very large portion so I had plenty to take home for another meal. My husband enjoyed his Bolognese which was also a very large portion. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back soon.“

It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. “We had a large group of ladies come in for dinner. It took us about an hour to get seated on a Saturday since they dont take reservations. We had a few bumps in the night but Brandon took great care of us. I believe he was the manager. Our appetizers were great (calamari and crab cake). The bread (or donut as we called it) was delicious!! Our entrees however were less than desirable. Pictured is my crab cake entree with a side of smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. The mac was terrible (unseasoned and the noodles were hard) 😢 I left the full side almost completely untouched on my plate. My friend's broccoli had a hair in it, which they promptly remade. Someone else's steak tasted like cinnamon as she described it and was tough for the cut of steak. The drinks were 10/10 (shout-out to the bartender). I had a lemon drop mojito *chef's kiss* And the creme brulee was delicious as well. Overall, I would return but simply for drinks and apps!“

“Delicious and authentic Polish food, great atmosphere, and kind staff. Many choices of food and drinks. We enjoyed Polish rosół (chicken noodle soup), which was absolutely amazing! “I’m from UP State Ny. The last time I came home I have been dying to come here. I had the 6oz. fillet. Its was to die for!!! So, for my birthday this year I wanted to go back! Everyone ordered, I ordered my fillet Med/Rear Well it was more Med/Well and I didn’t like it. The waiter agreed. They took it back and brought me the most perfect Fillet!!!! “Words cannot express how calming it is to go to Take Sushi. We have been customers for 21 years. The owner carried our daughter around when she was a baby so we could eat. Today as I prepare to send the baby off to college soon they were there for a special lunch. Let us in early and we had the most exquisite selection of chō moriawase. This is the best sushi around. Our friends who were from Japan said it was their favorite in metro Detroit. It’s our favorite because we love the family atmosphere that resounds in this crazy world!“
