“We came in to a surprisingly empty store. However the place was immaculate and the server was super kind!
We ordered for carry out and got our food in minutes.
The food itself was amazing. Flavourful while not being too spicy. According to my boyfriend, the Bangkok Chicken was “the best I’ve ever had”.
The gluten free (& vegetarian) options were very clearly marked, which I very much appreciate.“

“We recently ordered takeout from Penn’s Thai Cafe under its new ownership, and WOW, what a treat!

We’ve been fans of the chef owner’s cooking for a long time, so when they opened their own restaurant, we couldn’t wait to try it. You can truly taste the passion and authenticity in every dish.

The pad prick nor mai made with fresh bamboo, was a standout and something rarely found at this level outside of Thailand. We also had the kra pow moo grob (crispy pork basil stir fry) which was perfectly balanced - crispy, savory, and packed with flavor. Their pad Thai was excellent as well, with a rich depth of flavor and tanginess that sets it apart from the usual.

For appetizers, the minced pork bun with egg and the crab rangoon were a delightful surprise. They were comforting, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. We didn’t get a chance to try their newest dessert, i-Tim Kati (coconut ice cream), but it is definitely on our list for next time!

“The new owners have improved the interior and it is now open on weekends, which is nice. They now encourage you to use an app instead of calling in orders, which charges an extra fee. Also, they removed the one item I've always ordered (since 2012) and liked most - Pad Prik, so I've mostly stopped going here.“

Their investment into their business. And reviews are very important. Just because you’re not happy with something you don’t have to publicly try to crucify their business that’s cruel. Golden Buddha and I’ve been going there ever since it’s opened up. Has the best pad Thai I’ve ever tasted. And they work their butts off over there they are very small business usually one lady and a waitress. You have to be somewhat understanding if your service isn’t perfect. Or if your meal is wrong. Once in a while no one’s perfect. But I can tell you from my experience going there over 30 times I’ve never had a bad meal. And yeah the owner can get testy she has with me but I understand. Generally she’s protecting her interest and I get that. But that only happened one time and it was probably my fault. Highly recommend this place“

“I have been eating at, and ordering from, the various Bangkok Cuisine locations for over 25 years. It is the best Thai food I have ever had. I actually crave this food when I haven't had it in awhile.

Due to a series of very bad experiences with a different location, I had to find a new one. I was fortunate to find this one. It has different ownership, and it is obvious that the owners and the staff take pride in the business and are dedicated to making their food and service a quality experience.

I have ordered take-out at this location many times now, and I wish I had switched to them long ago. The food is always fresh, tasteful, and the quality is far above the other location.

My favorites are the Pad Kra Tiem Prik Taii and the Hot and Sour Soup.“

“What a gem!! This place is amazing for its food service and everything in between. We were a part of 4 during relatively high foot traffic and got great service. My mom is vegetarian so there was ample choices for her and she really enjoyed her food from Tom yum soup to vegetable tempura, spring rolls and veggie rolls. The presentation was great as well and the servers were very kind. The restrooms were clean. The only thing was that they added the 18% tip to our bill and there was an expectation to add more, which I did not appreciate. I didn’t mind the 18% as the service was good. “If I could give 10 stars I would! My family and I haven’t been this pleased in a take out order in a very long time and every single one of us LOVED our dishes! I got the Pho with extra rare steak (with an extremely generous portion of steak) I got the crunchy Cornish hen dish for my husband and sons and it was delicious and there were no leftovers at all, it was soo good! Mrs. Ho whom I spoke with over the phone was so polite and took specific detail to order when I asked for extra sauces and sides. We’ll be ordering regularly. Thank for a great dinner!“
