“The atmosphere and food was amazing! Such a cool vibe. Service, however, was not good. We waited about 15 minutes before anyone even approached our table, and we had to ask for menus. The waitress seemed annoyed any time we asked for something and was not knowledgeable of the menu items. The other waitress appeared to he more friendly and faster. We watched several other tables that came in after us get their food first. When we did get our food, it was delicious. Burgers were big and fresh.“
“Our family has really enjoyed eating here for the past year. I strongly suggest the fish sandwich and the chili cheese fries. I recently had the quesadilla, it was loaded with goodies and tasted fantastic. I took forward to the daily specials so I can try something new at each visit. The waitstaff are amazing. At one point they recognized me when I walked in, knew I wanted iced tea with lots of lemon. :)“
“Happened upon this restaurant by chance and it turned out pretty good. Good food, good menu and good service. I had the Western omelette with hash browns and toast. My friend had the steak sandwich. It was busy and filled with many regulars. Good coffee.“
“Every single time we stop in, the food and service are terrific. We’re always impressed by everything being made from scratch. However, it was today’s simple takeout order that surprised me the most. We stopped for a quick burger and steak fries to go. Understanding that to-go orders generally lose a little bit of quality given the transport, steamed up to-go box, etc. I didn’t expect it to be great. Instead, it was one of the best burgers and fries I’ve had in a long time. Thank you for being a hidden gem that we often return to. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“We went here for breakfast today, I ordered a veggie omelet. you couldn't even identify the veggies in it they were so burnt. I was going to send it back but the waitress never came back to ask how are meal was. We have gone for dinner here before but never breakfast, probably won't again. It was busy, but seemed to have enough staff on the floor.“
“Stopped into One Eighteen with my group of three for the first time. Ethan was our server and he did a great job with service. However, I left a little disappointed at my experience. Bread was fantastic and we ordered the Brussels sprouts which were equally amazing. I had the NY Strip Steak and ordered it medium but it came out Well and was a little rough. The potatoes were seasoned perfectly. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich and he loved it. And my other guest ordered the braised rib which she let me try and I thought as she did that it was great. The ambiance was nice and I enjoyed it. Booths were spacious for us. As for my meal I didn't complain because I didn't want to hold my group up. I did see the dessert from the group next to us and it looked incredible. We declined the dessert but I regret not trying it. Overall we were all happy with service and food. I do wish my steak was cooked better and my guest with the braised ribs commented that she would have liked to have some mushrooms added to it. Otherwise nothing extraordinary but a good meal and pleasant evening. Only recommendation I would give would be to change the paper on the fries. It looks like it's out of a 50's diner and clashed with the setting. We all commented at the same time about the paper. Psychologically it made me think that I was at a Denny's or Bobs Big Boy. Also the obvious, cook the steak right. Would I go back? I think I would but the steak sort of turned me off to it. Maybe I'd go back and order something new. I wanted to try the clam chowder, maybe the chicken sandwich and have a go at the braised rib or dessert.“
“Always a great place to come and hang out with friends. Super fun during the summer concerts since they participate in allowing you to get your favorite beverage and walk back to listen to the band playing. Service is always friendly, no matter how busy they are!“
“This place is one of the best franchised sit down restaurants in town. We rarely ever have any issues here. Had the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp. It came out sizzling hot. All of our food was on time and perfect. Had great service too.“
“There is one issue and others have same issue with is they close so early at 2pm it's very hard to dine here finding them open. Which automatically make us go to other places. So you need longer hours just do. Otherwise it's a top notch place with incredible food and seating area.“
“I've been to plenty of breweries In my lifetime but this is definitely up there as one of the best because it offers good beer, great service and excellent food. Decent happy hour but can't beat Wednesday wings AND pitcher special ($14). Oh, and the outdoor space is awesome.“
“Midland, MI Location Ordered one cheeseburger kids meal. Waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes while the 6 cars behind us got their food and left. I finally managed to snag one of the runners to let him know how many cars had passed and told him all we ordered was a kids meal and had been parked for at least 10-15 minutes at that point. They hadn't even started the order although the many other cars got their food behind us. Finally brings out our bag, I hand it to my kid and told them to make sure it had the burger and fries. Get home 15 minutes away and it was a burger with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. Not a plain cheeseburger. Never. Going. Back.“
“I ordered the Country Fried Steak Plate it is a smaller serving which was the perfect size for me. The steak was tender and seasoned very well it also came with mashed potatoes and gravy, and seasoned green beans (not spicy) I only left a little bit of the potatoes, I was too full to finish. My server was excellent very friendly I wish I could remember her name that's the only bad thing about my visit and if I'm back in Midland I would go again.“
“This place is definitely a dive bar, we went here cause believe it or not, it’s hard to get a good brat where we live. This place did not disappoint on the food and service. The prices are great and there’s tons of options. The server was super nice and helpful. The only thing I didn’t love was the environment. It’s more like a locals/regulars bar that happens to have a great menu. We ate in and there were loud drunk people shouting and walking around and touching people. Bit of a shame cause it could be a great restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly really. People drunk in the middle of the day.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem getting in with a wheelchair. No stairs.“
“The general manager at this location, Al, goes above and beyond for this restaurant, and it shows! Me and my kids had a great experience and the food was great! We will definitely be returning.Would recommend food wise their new chicken drumsticks and for a drink the bourbon pineapple punch“
“I always order Monterey. Chicken from a different Lucky’s location….the midland location served with no green peppers, red peppers or onions and mushrooms. When they did bring out the peppers after we asked they did not appear freshly cut peppers and shriveled up onions…they need to call the lucky is Imlay city and see how they do it?“
“I got a fancy burger with bacon jam and brie my husband got the buffet. This was on a Friday evening. Food was awesome and cooked to perfection. Johnny, (our waiter) was phenomenal and on the ball. Never had to ask for anything. He knew it and brought it before we could even know we wanted anything. Definitely will be back and asking to sit in Johnny's station!“
