“Frankly, DogSlinger Offers Winning Wieners Warmer days had my wife Shelly and me jonesing for summer grub, so we decided to investigate DogSlinger, located near the corner of St. Joseph Ave. and John Beers Rd. in the heart of uptown Stevensville, Michigan. Upon entering, we were greeted with giant artsy photos of each type of dog on the menu, and our mouths immediately began to water. The wall of photos made ordering easy since we could see each type of hot dog. Conversely, it made it more difficult to order because there were so many unique dogs and sausages that we wanted to try. Per usual, we did some splitsies. We started off with the Seattle Dog, which found the Vienna all-beef hot dog nestled in a cream cheese laden brioche bun and topped with freshly cut and grilled onions and peppers. The warmth of the hot dog caused the cream cheese to soften and melt into the bun. The saltiness of the dog was nicely accentuated by the mild, sweet, and tangy hints of cream cheese. I said “Yeehaw,” when I bit into the Cowboy Dog, which was wrapped in bacon, topped with cheese sauce, BBQ sauce, and some house-made crispy onion strips…oh, and then more chunks of bacon! The hickory smoke flavor of the bacon and the sweetness of the BBQ were well balanced. You’d better saddle up before trying to rustle this beast. I never thought one hot dog could fill me up, but this was one big meaty dog! The Termintater (not a typo) is DogSlinger’s version of a loaded baked potato. Somewhere near the bottom of this creation was a hot dog suffocated by a myriad of tater tots and meat chili. Nacho cheese sauce, sour cream and their house-made Slinger Sauce was drizzled over the heap before it was garnished with fresh-sliced scallions. In football, we call this “piling on!” Of course, we couldn’t leave without having the traditional Chicago Dog. It’s hard to beat this classic when it’s made with premium ingredients. A true Chicago dog must start with an authentic Vienna Beef brand all-beef frank in a steamed poppy-seed bun and topped with neon green sweet relish, chopped onion, yellow mustard, tomato slices, a kosher spear, pickled peppers known as “sport peppers” and a dash of celery salt. Do not embarrass yourself by asking for ketchup on it. Actually, they will make it for you that way, but they may razz you a bit.“

“Last dined at Skips in January 2026 , let me say this , first biggest complaint is that after looking at my credit statement I saw that they tacked on an extra $20 charge on my credit card without my permission , after questioning them they did remove the charge , second the food was fair at best , I ordered the Walleye which I'm not sure it was even Walleye , it tasted and looked more like Tilapia ( 2 small filets ) , wife had the Salmon which she said was just ok . I bragged about this place to the others that were with us and they agreed it was nothing to write home about , ,will I go back to Skips , no but they probably don't carel“

“Great bar service from Crystal! And our steaks were amazing! Perfectly charred on the outside, medium on the inside. Delicious! Only a 4 on atmosphere since a table by us was super loud. But definitely one of our favorite places to go for a fantastic meal!“
“My wife and I got married here and we had a better experience than we expected and it’s due to all the great people at Pebblewood. I can recommend giving them your business. You won’t regret it.“

“This is our first time visiting Three Oaks, and first time at Froehlichs. It’s a wonderful eclectic interior, and you can also buy all sorts of coffees, jams, candles etc in the back area. The foods was really good! We had the pepper burger and a corn elote salad with salmon. For dessert we had a mixed fruit mini pie (so fresh!) and the chocolate cake. Both delicious! Our server Jane was very nice and attentive as well. We will be back for breakfast!“

“Just had dinner here at the Red Arrow Roadhouse. Hubby ordered the meatloaf dinner and he liked it very much. I ordered the Roadhouse Classic Reuben minus the sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing! The house-cooked corned beef, warm, very lean, and incredibly tender on griddled marbled rye, with melted Swiss cheese was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! The fries were perfectly cooked and hot. Our server was a dream. Friendly and welcoming. She made us want to come back! The next time we’re in New Buffalo, we will definitely visit this restaurant again.“

“The friendliest encounter we’ve ever had at the drive thru window. We love supporting local businesses and this one in particular was a treat. The food is amazing and all cooked to order. Bring your imaginations because if they have the ingredients the sky’s the limit.“

“We were there for our 51th anniversary and were advised by our son this was the place for steak.we usually only go there for the casino and had not been in the copper Rock for years due to a lackluster prior experience. HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED I placed our reservation the day before as most of the time slots were gone on the current day I was considering & glad I did. Our waitress was Sue and she went above and beyond addressing our concerns & my needs ( my wife says I'm the need one). Also my wife's name is Sue too My wife had the surf & turf . I had the Bison bone in ribeye along with the 6oz lobster tail as I am not a filet lover.Sue took care of the change without a problem I learned a great restaurant with always work with their customers & the copper rock Was no exception. As my son advised to try the breads he was spot on.along with the different spreads. Cheddar with bacon was my favorite. The ONE THING I have a Big pet peeve Is getting my courses shotgunned This was not the case ,all courses came well spaced apart & we never needed to ask for refills . The bread on the other hand was gone in a flash & the good news is I didn't have to wait long for more.i fell in with mutigraim with raisons Thanks Sue ( who by the way has been with the Rock since it first opened I believe she said since 2007 . I would give my eye teeth for an employee like her) For one of the best anniversary dinners in our 51yrs Thanks again Chet & Sue Donati DMC SEC SERVICING OUR CUSTOMERS FOR OVER 53 YRS“

“Just came back from Easter brunch 2026 and I have to tell you that had to be the best brunch buffet I have ever had! Their food is always exceptional there but this was so spot on from the breakfast items to the main course and of course, the salad was out of this world. But of course, my favorite was the prime rib. It was so juicy so tender cooked perfectly, and the ham was smoked with such a flavor to it from what I understand they also do this on Mother’s Day and I look so forward to that. I went with my family and my great grandchildren and they just enjoy eating at the union pier social and my good friend Steve is the manager there and basically runs the whole show and he just took it out of the park. I suggest if you’ve never ever patronize the union pure social you need to go because all your Round their food is just exceptional on Tuesdays they have bingo. It is so much fun that you can eat play bingo meet friends I love going there and I suggest everyone you need to try it. You will not be sorry.“

“We didn’t expect our experience at Timbers to be so enjoyable. We were so surprised at how nice, fun and helpful the staff was. The food was good (pizza, salad & cheesesteak sandwich) and prices weren’t too bad. Just can’t say enough about the dining staff, great job!!“

“This was our first visit to the Staymaker, which is the restaurant within the Journeyman Distillery. We are visiting from Chicago and this was recommended and we were not disappointed! Everything was really excellent! From our charming and attentive server Hailey, to the amazing smoked trout spread app to the Trout entree and the brisket meatloaf. It was all so delicious! We will be back!“

“Mr. Gyro’s is one of my favorite casual dining spots around here. The owner, Nathan, is so nice and his food is ON POINT. The gyros platter and Greek salad are both a solid representation of authentic, fresh Greek flavors and ingredients. 10/10 recommend!“

“Been here many times. We had a great dinner here the other night as always. The zucchini blossoms are delicious and the sauce to dip them is so good. The blueberry martini is my favorite.“
“Walked in a little after 2 pm on a Monday (7/14) and they were surprisingly busy. There were two women on the floor and they were phenomenal... A bit disappointed that there was no one else there to support them but they held their own. There was a large party and then several other tables and since we were coming to relax we weren't bothered with a wait, there really wasn't much of one. Ordered the pretzel bites and cheese garlic bread appetizers which were half odd. Garlic cheese bread was fantastic!! The ladies kept our drinks replenished and we look forward to returning soon.“

“It wouldn't let me post my review unless I said I recommend...People need to be warned. Apparently if you are not a regular, they will give your table to one of them even if you reserved months in advance. Hostess and Manager do not value out of owner business so go somewhere else. The only option I could choose was "slow service" but wait staff were better than management.“

“The buffet was good, but I think they put way too much pepper on the food. There’s a lot of people out there cannot have pepper … that’s why you put salt and pepper shakers on the table so people could put the salt and pepper on the food by themselves. The cooks put way too much pepper on the food especially the mashed potatoes. Don’t need to do that. Nobody else does that.“
