“Love this place! Thanks Mike for the awesome food experience of Tall Tree Cafe. I’ve been hearing some great stuff about Tall Trees for a while and had to check it out. The menu is simple and delicious. The staff was friendly and appreciative of our business. I really enjoyed the Spicy Mortadella. The bread was so fresh. This place offers sandwiches, salads, and tasty dips. The French Onion dip was yummy. They do cold brews and hot coffee also. I strongly recommend this place. Easy parking in Ferndale.“

“I had 5 broken teeth and 2 large abscesses and couldn't eat much of anything but was starving. I was looking for something soft to gum. Thinking tamales or beans and cheese. Of the options the flour tortilla beef birria seemed to be the best fit. I ordered those, a side of beans and, a side of consomme. Was amazing. Just on the edge of what I can tolerate heat wise (I am a wimp). Great taste. I used the consomme to make birria ramen for a later meal. (Just beef ramen, 2 sticks string cheese, and the consomme). It was also great, very satisfying.“

“Delicious and flavorful food. Friendly staff. Mexican style/street tacos flare. Positive energy vibe, plenty of seating available. I had the California burrito and asked to add cilantro and had no issues, in fact the person taking the order loaded me up with additional toppings and sauces that the burrito was filling enough for 2 meals. Also had the trio sampler (guacamole, cheese, salsa) with chips. Very filling. Great flavor profile. Will definitely be adding this to my list to return again.“

“First time visiting today. I had an online order and I was able to pick it up on a table for online orders. The place was lively and seemed like a nice place to meet a friend for lunch without spending a lot. My chicken yero and small Greek salad were both delicious (and nicely packed)! “I saw some reviews on here of people who werent impressed or had bad experiences and they almost drove me away from trying this place. Anyway, i went and need to say this place makes an amazing burger and fries. I hope they keep it consistent because it was the best burger I’ve had in Michigan and the fries are everything i want out of a french fry - crispy, salty, actually taste like potatoes… they remind me of belgian fries.
Give it a shot and I hope your experience is as good as mine. My arteries are doomed.“

“Saw this restaurant driving down Orchard Lake and we were intrigued so had to stop by for lunch. With 2 adults & 2 kids, we all ate everything. The kimchi fries were yummy. Had a classic corn dog, a potato crusted spicy sausage, 2 Hands 1/2 cheese 1/2 sausage and an all cheese 2 Hands. We'll definitely eat here again. Ordered from the kiosk when we got in, food came out quickly. Everything was hot and fresh. We didn't need much but the limited employee engagement was positive. If you're looking for something different, give this place a try.“
