“Kekos rebranded Hot n New The Corner Brunch House, went twice last week first week open. Sunday 1pm a full house had to wait ten minutes for a table, parking lot full. The words out full Brunch everyday open till 3pm. Super exciting new marvelous dishes and fancy Coffee menu. See photos of menu in my post. Got 2 of my favorite waitress still Amanda and Ms Z both always the best service 😄. First visit Chorizo n Cheese Omelette topped with Jalapenos with Bowl of Cheezy Grits and Pancakes only $11 for the win 😋💯. Sunday had 6 waitress on the floor, I happily waited for a booth. Mind blowing delicious 😋 Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict outstanding with those Cheezy Grits I'm addicted to. “My husband and I stopped at Sicily’s on Vernon Hwy for some authentic Detroit style pizza before leaving the city and it was amazing!! We tried the pepperoni and white pizza and were not disappointed. The staff were super friendly and the dining area was beautiful! Can’t wait to go back ☺️“

“Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! “What a wonderful team, food, beer, cider! We are just so lucky to have had our daughters after wedding party here at Batch. Kimberly was a pleasure to work with during the planning and day of the event.
Stephen came to meet us and was essential in making sure we had “Polish, double smoked kielbasa “ for the event. It should be on the menu full time! Everything was delicious and fresh.
The Alabama white pulled chicken, pulled pork, pretzels, smoked meats charcuterie board, fresh fruit, double smoked Kielbasa ( so darn delicious) and the Kale Cesar salad.. all finished off by our Family and guests. Everyone loved the beer selection, the food and the vibe at Batch!
We have always been supporters of Batch Brewery, now we feel like they are part of the Family.

“We pulled up on a Sunday ready to check this place out, but for some reason there was a sign on the door saying “Be back in 10 minutes.” We waited, and eventually a guy came and opened up. I’m guessing he was working solo, but when you’ve got a full day and you’re standing outside a shop that should be open, it’s not the funnest way to start.

Once inside, though, the vibe shifted. The shop had multiple chocolate selections, so we grabbed a six-pack and went with one of each flavor since it was our first time here. I also loved some of the other quirky products — chocolates shaped like floppy disks and clever giftable items with witty sayings that almost tempted us into impulse buying.

The guy behind the counter was super friendly and helped package everything nicely. That said, I’ll never understand tipping culture at candy shops — why does every checkout system now prompt you for a tip?

The space itself was very cute and inviting. There’s a lot of open room toward the back, but I’m guessing that’s reserved for production.

Now, the bonbons themselves? Fantastic. Presentation is stellar, flavors are fun, and it’s definitely something I’d buy again as a special treat or gift. But here’s the rub — the price. For what you get, it feels like a splurge. I’d gladly hand over five stars if it weren’t for the sticker shock.

“If you want traditional diner feel and prices with authentic Mexican flavor and taste, check this place out! Its fantastic. Whether regular coffee or their spiced coffee- its delicious! I have a preference for their Mexican/Mexican-influenced dishes. Ive been twice, both times tried something different, and neither has missed. Service is fantastic and you couldn't ask for better prices. My advice, go early, this place gets packed quick.“
