“This is a typical sports bar, with lots of TVs....great for watching a Tigers game! Teh beer selection was decent, and the staff good....efficient and friendly. The menu is "typical" bar fare; we had some pizza, which was OK for bar food pizza. Not a bad, un pretentious place to grab a drink and watch a game.“

“I absolutely love this place. I always make it there on a Friday night, for obvious reasons, LOL! The bartenders are a joy to be around, and really bring the atmosphere together. The beers are cheap, and the food is decent for bar food (I normally get the buffalo wrap or the steak bites). Mostly an older crowd, but everyone is there to have a good time and that’s what I always have! Can’t go wrong with a bucket of beer.“

As a former server, it is hard not to notice every detail, and I am super picky about food. I just ordered a carry-out for my family, and I expect the quality to be the same. Definitely recommend 👌“

“Absolutely 100% recommend Nemo’s! We’re here for tigers opening day and I am breastpumping. I asked if they had a room I could pump, although they didn’t have a secluded area for me, they let me pump in this back area. Thankfully I had a wearable pump so you can’t see anything but one of the bartenders brought me a water & a hotdog and was just the sweetest man. Truly thankful for their hospitality! So very sweet! Above and beyond!“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a party venue, or just a dinner out to come eat here!! 5 stars!!!!!!“

“Stopped here before a concert at LCA last night - obviously busy, but wait wasn’t bad at all and we were able to get a drink at the bar and wait outside. I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was absolutely stellar! She was super friendly, funny and quick despite having a large section on a busy night. Got the shrimp tacos (AMAZING and filling - has a perfect amount of “kick”) and my husband got the hot chicken sandwich (the one small bite I was allowed was phenomenal) overall 10/10 experience!“

“We arrived unannounced at the GOAT in LaSalle after a hockey game. As a team, it wasn't a planned post dinner meal, so our numbers were increasing faster than a table could be set up for us. The waitress (I wish I thought to get her name) was professional, relaxed and so very accommodating. She was amazing at welcoming us and never made anyone of our unexpected 18 guests feel like a burden. Way to go Team GOAT! The service was so fantastic and the food was delicious.“

“We took a day trip from about 3 hours away to get some wings and watch some college football. This is the second closest Hooters to our house but we always come to this one because the food is great and the vibe is always good! Special shoutout to the manager Lisa and the bartender Sophia for the hospitality!! We will be back again soon!“

“Great atmosphere! Honestly the best blackened walleye I've ever had. It was busy and everyone was having a good time. Loud but it was a very lively crowd. I got there just before karaoke, some dude went up there and sang his heart out to a Katy Perry song and at first I was like 👎.. but seriously dude was out of key and still rocked the entire crowd. I've never laughed so hard in life. It wasn't cringe at all.. it was freaking amazing. Food and drink was A1 got voodoo ranger on tap and was pleased it was still fresh. The blackened walleye was not fishy at all. Perfectly seasoned. Perfectly cooked. Im pretty sure I was sitting at the bar while the DJ was eating ny strip next to me. It smelled good enough to go back and order ny strip next time. If I wasn't married, I'd definitely shoot my shot on what was on the menu. Ratio was 30% sausage 45% clam 25% couples. Prices were great and bar tenders were eye candy, but were not obnoxiously vying for tips. Pretty sure I tipped $10 on $30. Everything was great! will probably bring my wife here for a excellent dinner and a few drinks. 100% will get road head on the way home!“

“Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. “Just got a nice craft beer before the start of a tiger game. Friendly bar tender and fast service. Nice sized craft and standard beer menu. Low top, booth and bar seating. I liked the environment that made it feel like you were at a pub and not inside a baseball park. Pricey but I would return.“

“Unfortunately, I had the steak chunk sandwich, on special....their name for it was a Cheesesteak sandwich...chunks of reheated old steak, with ample grizzle, without cheese...couldn't eat it...but the onion rings were great...used to love going there, but the food has dropped in quality...sad. Did get ample apologies from our waitress, and it's certainly not her fault...she did go inside, after seeing the mess on my plate...comped half the price, even with 3/4 left...oh well...thank you, I guess.“

“Found this place on my way home from getting desserts across the street. The family and I stopped in and found the brick oven pizza to be amazing and the spinach artichoke dip is the best I've ever had. Shout out to the the pizza artist whom you can see cooking your pizza up fresh out the brick oven. Haley the server was nice also. Clean and comfortable establishment with outdoor seating as well. Only one thing I would change is the fact I noticed my drink was watered down. Still give 5 stars though because they definitely got the pizza and environment down to a T.“
