“I was a little nervous to order from here, because of some of the negative reviews. I ate at chicken shack a very long time ago at a different location, I give places a chance, so... I ordered online a 15 piece chicken tenders, a tray of potatoes, and a large coleslaw. perfectly cooked and great flavor.Chicken tenders: 3/5 they were seasoned good but a little dry, (I remember their regular bone in chicken was better)coleslaw 0/5. The coleslaw is usually good from what I remember however, it was so sugary! It tasted like someone accidentally added extra sugar, like they forgot they already added it. it's ok mistakes happen. I will come back on another day and order the bucket of chicken instead: )“

“Have 3 customers orders after we had already ordered....made us wait for more crispy chicken. .been here about 1/2 hour. Terrible service . They don't seem to care. Could have offered a discount on it..family bucket 8 pc, Cole slaw, mashed potatoes and biscuits extra crispy. Still waiting.“

“VESTAVIA HILLS, AL LOCATION: I have been excited to tell yall about this place man (video review coming soon)! I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. “Usually everything is excellent and I told that to the woman waiting on me. Unfortunately, this time I felt the chicken was a overdone and dry, as were the biscuits. (I should have taken pictures ) Also, I ordered the 8 piece meal, and 1/2 was spicy and 1/2 was famous, which they did do, however in the spicy box there were the thigh, and leg, but 2 wings and no breast. I hope this was just an anomaly because I really like Lee's and have ordered multiple times with no problems. I will give them another chance.“

“5 stars! The entire crew on 6/20/26 @ 11 am. I originally orders sides from here and chicken from somewhere else just trying to save a few bucks, it back and the place with chicken failed me. I came in and asked them how quick if possible at all they could do a decent size order of chicken. Nobody was annoyed as most probably would be, it was the exact opposite from the counter to the cooks they all said “no problem we can start it now” they were extremely nice from the second i walked in and even nicer somehow after they heard my situation.“

“This is my 2nd time at this establishment. We drove about 200 miles from the other side of Michigan to eat this delicious food. EVERYTHING was awesome. We can't wait till the next time we visit Jollibee. I just wish Jollibee was closer around South Bend Indiana.we would be there weekly.“

“Food is great here and what kind of restaurant can you go to and get great chicken and sides plus a couple beers for cheap? The answer is nowhere and restaurants overcharge way too much for food and drinks. The only place I’ll go to now for fried chicken because no one else even compares.“

“Got a half slab of ribs, the super combo, which was a slab of ribs, 12 pieces of chicken and two side orders. Got the broasted potatoes for side orders and they were delicious as were the chicken and ribs. A bit pricey, but we don’t order from here very often. This place was not my first choice because we usually get our broasted chicken and ribs from Lazybones on Groesbeck but they closed on April 12. What a bummer.“

“This is my go-to place for fried fish and chicken. The fried green beans and fried corn on the cob are also delicious. I turned a couple of my friends on to this place as well, including a friend visiting from Georgia. She liked the food so much, she took pictures and posted them on social media. I also appreciate the good service provided by the young ladies who take the orders. Manhattan will continue to get my business as long as they continue or increase the level of service they currently provide.“
