“I moved to SCS 5 months ago and have never been here before. My family and I have tried carryout from several restaurants and we always end up with Gilbert’s. Great food, service & prices. I had my daughters 1st birthday in their banquet room yesterday and I’m over the moon happy with how it turned out! The staff was super helpful and always around when I needed anything. The food was great, my guests raved about the pizza and spinach dip. I would book events here in the future without a doubt. Look no further for a great American cuisine menu and staff that makes you feel like family!“

“First of all Hayden was the best server we’ve ever had in our entire life and I should know because I’ve been to a lot of restaurants. Not only did he have amazing recommendations of the menu and drinks but he was genuinely a pleasure to be around. Honorable mention for the Lincoln Logs appetizer, the most delicious appetizer ever.“

“Excellent service. The quality and quantity of the food is very good. We ordered a sample plate, and four of us did not finish it. We each had enough for lunch the next day. The gentleman that was our server is the owner or manager. He was attentive and even made a suggestion when we were deciding what to order. The food came our fairly quick, and he checked on us often.

Parking: North side of restaurant with parking for about 20 cars.

Wheelchair accessibility: We were able to get a wheelchair in and easily maneuver in the place. We moved a chair to wheel up to a table spot.“

“They have great food here. Their meat pies are amazing. I have been eating them since my dad used to bring me here as a child. Grapeleaves, Hummus, Tabouleh! It's all delicious. 🤌

The people who work there are great as well. Last time I was there, the man behind the counter came out and held the door for my daughter and I. It made my day.

“It’s a small bar but I like it. people are nice there, they have trivia and karaoke on Wednesdays and some other days. they have a heated patio area when it gets cold outside so that’s a plus for me“

Our server was friendly and prompt. The food was delivered promptly and hot. The hash browns were crispy as I requested.

The atmosphere was fast paced, people were hustling about. The decor was a bit dated, old school diner, but the value more than makes up for it.“

“Great environment great food and good prices is an excellent combo. Booze is slightly high in price but not much. The fish sliders were great just needed some more pickle which they gave me. The pickles here are fantastic. The hamburger sliders were good also, fish were the way to go for .50¢ more though. The menu didn't show gravy tots just gravy fries, we asked if we could get gravy tots they said no problem. Table next to us ordered the same, fairly glutinous they were. The $10 beer, burger and fries deal is unbeatable. The outside patio and upper deck is the place to be, will not be able to order the $10 burger special out there though, which is a huge bummer but must keep some people inside as the outside area is so popular and busy.“

“This pizza tasted like victory. I just got off work and was craving a deep dish pizza, however it was 9:50 and I was worried they couldn't take my order. Thankfully the staff member answered my call and let me order a small deep dish pizza simple with pepperoni and cheese. This pizza made my night after work and I am very satisfied with my purchase from the dough to the audible crust that my friend on my FaceTime was jealous of lol. Whomever made this pizza tonight deserves a raise xD.“

“Got carry out while they were under construction. The labne and sojok sandwiches are amazing. Great baba ghannouj - usually if a restaurant can nail this dish everything else is gonna be good. Tabbouleh was on point as well. I'll be back for sure.

“Excellent Almond boneless chicken, but my favorite things are the Springrolls(the sauce for them yummy ?) and the crabmeat/cream cheese wontons are phenomenal. About to try the bout and sour soup tonight. Excited ? Great local spot, the owners/employees are exceptionally cool, and I’ve yet to have a bad meal from there. Delightfully Delightful ????

Parking: Lots of open spaces when you go between 7:30pm-9-pm. Never ate there earlier, but I’m sure it’s ok parking wise people. Don’t be scared ? Just try them and enjoy!!!! Worth the coin$$$

“UPDATE: I talked to the owner(he called and left a message the next day). He thanked me for the review, and said, "If we don't know what's wrong, we can't make it better." He gave me a credit for a new pizza(which I used today). Here's a review: The pizza was cooked perfectly, and was absolutely great. This is like the Sorrento's I know and love. Definitely recommend grabbing pizza here if you're in the area.“
